Our story begins whenever man was able to fly: there is substantial evidence that before the universal flood mankind with knowledge direct from the Creator was able to fly in our atmosphere and space and even waged nuclear wars using a form of anti-gravity craft (AGC). The "magic carpet" stuff from India is a mere literary trace of a shocking reality far greater and ominous. There is a reason why the U-2 is still in use as a reconnaissance aircraft: it flies very high--at 70, 000+ feet there isn't very much in the way of anti-aircraft weaponry that can hit it--unless you are a sophisticated nation-state with a lot of money to create high-altitude surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) and the radars to guide them. Even if manned recon high altitude aircraft are now being supplanted by drones, they will be around for many years collecting the data that can be obtained from the edge of the atmosphere.

As the 2IC of British Naval Intelligence during WW2, Commander Ian Fleming worked closely with pal Sidney Cotton's 1 PRU which did both low-altitude and high-altitude photo reconnaissance against the Axis powers. This intel was used to direct military actions which could be to send in agents like his 30 Assault Unit to capture documents and equipment/personnel and/or destroy important targets--like the V weapons sites--by air or ground strikes. The British are masters at countering enemy photo recon by creating dummy weapons and fake units best described in Anthony Cave Brown's masterpiece Body Guard of Lies.

Before the WW2, Cotton (a WW1 seaplane fighter pilot) modified a twin-engined Lockheed Electra business plane to have hidden cameras for covert high altitude recon of Nazi Germany.
During WW2, Cotton modified single-engined photo recon planes like the Spitfire created by the financing of Canadian businessman and British Security Coordination (BSC) master spy William Stephenson ("The Man Called Intrepid") that when not shooting down German planes or dive-bombing V-1 and V-2 launch sites guided by British radar--was modified to cruise at 40, 000 feet unarmed to be fast to evade shoot-downs from other prop-driven fighters with guns. RAF wing commander Fred Winterbotham who conceived of the special heating system to enable camera lens to work at high altitude does not appear to have been friends with Fleming as they both fought over use of Cotton's Electra undercover spy plane.

In contrast, the Germans did not do air recon well; they placed cameras in aircraft that were INFERIOR in flight performance to Allied types, then wondered why they were constantly shot-down?

Getting comprehensive and persistent 24/7/365 coverage over the ocean is still a huge task today even with surveillance satellites. Flying land-based patrol planes has shown to not work as gaps invariably develop when planes leave to return to base or simply cannot reach the area. The UAV is going to prove to be an expensive Band-Aid to human maritime patrol planes once they start to crash. The best answer has always been SEAPLANES that can land on the water and be refueled and keep going. Small seaplanes operated by cruisers and battleships have been decisive numerous times at finding the enemy and should be used to insure air defense:

The painting above shows a RAF PBY Catalina seaplane flown by an American pilot, Ensign Leonard Smith and his crew "finding" the German battleship Bismarck when in actuality it was sent as a cover story since an American Coast Guard cutter Modoc patrolling the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France (!) had earlier saw the great ship breaking the horizon and radioed its location. [See A Man Called Intrepid, pages 259, 263-265] To preserve American political neutrality, a seaplane was sent over to deceive the Germans so when their battleship was sunk it was because of maritime air reconnaissance not that their codes were broken or America was covertly fighting them. The British often used seaplanes to provide cover for their ULTRA secret those times when spying found their targets and not from air reconnaissance by itself.

...the Mosquito performed its first sortie in September 1941. On 18 September, Squadron Leader Rupert Clerke and his observer, Sergeant Sowerbutts, of the RAF Number 1 PRU took off in a Mosquito PR.I on a mission to Southern France. Intelligence suggested that the Nazis were massing troops to occupy Spain, and the Mosquito was to check it out.
However, the aircraft's electrical generator failed and the batteries ran down, rendering the cameras so much dead weight. The Mosquito had to return to base. In some compensation, the aircraft was jumped by three Messerschmitt Bf-109s but easily outran them, no doubt leaving behind very baffled Luftwaffe pilots wondering what the hell they had been chasing.
The same Mosquito performed another reconnaissance mission over Southern France two days later, on 20 September, with Flight Lieutenant Alistair Taylor at the controls. The mission was successful, and from that time on Number 1 PRU's began to range widely over Western Europe. Unfortunately, Taylor and his Mosquito were lost ten weeks later, shot down by German flak during a mission against Trondheim and Bergen, Norway. It was the Mosquito's first combat loss.
* A total of 20 Mosquitos were completed by the end of 1941. While reconnaissance machines were the immediate priority, some Mosquito bomber and night-fighter variants were delivered to RAF frontline squadrons during the winter of 1941:42, but foul weather kept them from seeing much combat during that time. The first Mosquito bomb raid was on 31 May 1942, as a follow-up to the first RAF "thousand bomber raid", performed on Cologne the night before. Five B.IVs were sent in singly to hit Cologne during the day to keep the Germans off-balance.
It wasn't a very good use of the machine, and one was shot down by flak, allowing the Germans to examine the wreckage. Ironically, the existence of the Mosquito remained an official secret for some time after that, with one British newspaper called to task by the authorities for mentioning it.
Bomber Command didn't really know what to do with the Mosquito and remained unenthusiastic about it, all the more so because subsequent bombing missions with the machine produced lower-than-average results and higher-than-average losses. The German Focke-Wulf FW-190 proved able to perform a dive from altitude and "creep up" on the Mosquito, with crews unable to do anything but pray as they had no way to shoot back.
The Soviets had developed an "aerial mine", a small fragmentation bomb on a parachute, to deal with comparable situations and apparently with good effect, but if the RAF thought of it they decided against it. Gradually, various engineering refinements, such as the jet-boost exhausts and improved engines, increased the gap between the Mosquito and the FW-190. Pilots also learned they could shake the FW.190 by going into a shallow dive and performing a corkscrew maneuver, since the Focke Wulf's controls tended "freeze up" at high speeds more quickly than those of the Mosquito.
If the Mosquito was having a hard time proving itself as a bomber, nobody had any misgivings over it as a reconnaissance aircraft. Number 1 PRU was finding itself much needed and correspondingly heavily taxed, and was effectively upgraded from a squadron to a wing in October 1942 by being split into five squadrons.
One of the squadrons, Number 540, was equipped with the Mosquito, which was preferred for long-range missions into hostile airspace over reconnaissance Spitfires, which simply didn't have the reach. The PR Mosquitos ranged all over Europe and returned with spectacular images that provided useful military intelligence as well as some propaganda value. Crisp photographs of major targets, such as the German battle cruiser Gniesenau, were released to the press to demonstrate that the RAF could go where it chose with apparent impunity.
As the PR Mosquitos operated mostly by day and by themselves, they had the greatest need for speed and height, and were given priority for the Mosquitos with two-stage Merlins, beginning with the PR.VIII. They were re-equipped with the improved machines through 1943, and the PR.Is and PR.IVs were all retired by October 1943.
A PR.VIII became the first Mosquito to photograph Berlin, on 8 March 1943. On 2 June 1943 a PR.VIII overflew the German technical research center at Peenemunde on the Baltic coast. Previous missions there had turned up nothing, but this flight brought back images of the new German "V-2" long-range ballistic missile. The installation was heavily bombed by the RAF in August.
The PR.IX's more powerful engines and greater fuel load were put to good use. During 1943, one made a "grand tour" of central Europe, flying out of RAF Benson and overflying Regensburg, Germany; Vienna, Austria; Budapest, Hungary; and Foggia, Italy, before landing in Catania, Sicily. The trip covered 3,060 kilometers (1,900 miles), took 6 hours 30 minutes flying time, with an average speed of 407 KPH (292 MPH). The Mosquito ran out of gas before it could taxi to its parking spot.
In the winter of 1943:1944, PRU Mosquitos began to reach for higher altitude in order to evade improved defenses. This led to the eight PR.IXs modified with up-rated Merlins and four-bladed propellers, but the height and cold were hell on both crews and aircraft. The pressurized PR.XVI was designed in response, but various teething problems kept it out of service until May 1944.
The handful of long-winged PR.32s were up to the task, but by the time they got into service there wasn't much of a task left, at least in Europe. This was fortunate for the PRU, since by late 1944 the Mosquito was beginning to encounter the Messerschmitt Me-262 jet fighter, which could easily outrun even the quick Mosquito. Fortunately for the Allies, the Me-262 was too little and too late, with most of those produced usually grounded for lack of fuel.
Mosquitos were first sent to the Far East in the spring of 1943, performing reconnaissance sorties from Calcutta over Southeast Asia. The ultimate reconnaissance Mosquito, the PR.34, began flying out of the Cocos Islands, in the Indian Ocean south of Sumatra, in July 1944 to overfly Japanese installations in Southeast Asia.
The question is, what is the radar cross-section (RCS) of an all-wood Mosquito with two very metal Rolls Royce engines?
Both the legendary Lysander and the Russian AN-2 Colt transport biplane in wide-spread use today is fabric-covered and is very radar elusive causing South Korea to be alarmed about them dropping lots of NORth Korean army (NORK) saboteurs in time of war.

The next question is what's stopping us from making a non-metallic engine and be completely radar stealthy by materials?
An engine is metal because it contains the chemical reaction of burning--fire--to create energy with which to move a propeller or expel hot gases for action/reaction thrust to go forward through the air to create lift over wings. So can an engine that is non-metallic or that doesn't reflect radar waves? If so, we can create fully flight agile, high-performance stealth aircraft and not have to compromise their flight performance by SHAPING.

The most famous way to be stealthy is the "hopeless diamond" shapes the Skunk Works came up with for the F-117. However, years before the Northrop flying wing aircraft were inadvertently discovered to offer a very small RCS.

There is a revisionist debate over whether Northrop came up with the flying wing on their own or if they got the idea from captured German plans at the end of WW2. Clearly, Jack Northrop thought of the flying wing in the 1930s as evidenced by his contract with the USAAF to build the contra-rotating prop-driven B-35 in the 1940s--long before we captured the Operation PAPERCLIP German scientists.

The B-35 was the brainchild of Jack Northrop, who made the Flying Wing the focus of his work during the 1930s. During World War II, Northrop had been commissioned to develop a large wing-only, long range bomber designated XB-35. Northrop advocated the "flying wing" as a means of reducing parasitic drag and eliminating structural weight not directly responsible for producing lift. In theory, the B-35 could carry a greater payload faster, farther, and cheaper than a conventional bomber. On 11 April 1941, the United States Army Air Corps sent out a request for a bomber that could carry 10,000 lb (4,536 kg) of bombs to a round-trip mission of 10,000 mi (16,093 km). Requested performance was a maximum speed of 450 mph (740 km/h), cruise speed of 275 mph (443 km/h), and service ceiling of 45,000 ft (13,716 m). This aircraft would be able to bomb Nazi-occupied Europe in the event that Britain fell, similar to what the Nazi Germany's RLM's own Amerika Bomber program was intended to do.

This proposal was originally submitted to Boeing and Consolidated Aircraft Company, and led to the production of the Convair B-36. In May, the contract was also extended to include Northrop, inviting them to submit a design along the lines they were already exploring.[2]
Since the new aircraft would require a significant amount of engineering work in untested waters, the first order placed was actually for a one-third scale version of the XB-35 dubbed the Northrop N-9M (M standing for model). This aircraft would be used to gather flight data on the Flying Wing design, which would then be used in designing the big XB-35. It would also be used to familiarize pilots with the radical, all-wing concept. Early in 1942, design work on the XB-35 itself began in earnest. Unlike conventional aircraft, Flying Wings cannot use a rudder for lateral control, so a set of butterfly-like, double split flaps on the trailing edge of the wingtips were used. When aileron control was input, they were deflected up or down as a single unit, just like an aileron. When rudder input was made, the two surfaces on one side opened, top and bottom, creating drag, and yawing the aircraft. By applying input to both rudder pedals, both sets of surfaces were deployed creating drag so that the airspeed or the glide angle could be manipulated.[2]
On 22 November 1941, the Army Air Corps signed the development contract for an XB-35;[3] the contract included an option for a second aircraft, which was exercised on 2 January 1942. The first was to be delivered in November 1943, the second in April of the next year.
Either way, the Nazi Germans were also interested and built flying wings during WW2. There is an entire cottage industry of artists and fascist Nazi enthusiasts going back to actual drawings and plans and rendering them in "What if?" scenarios--just google "Luft46" or "Luftwaffe 1946" to see what could have been...

The tragedy in all of this is that the flying wing or better yet the more stable Burnelli lifting fuselage are inherently more safer by their maximum lift for slower take-off and landing speeds as well as increased structural strength than tube & wing airliners that have murdered thousands of people needlessly in air crashes. We should have these blended-wing-body (BWB) airliners in service NOW, perhaps beginning with stealthy military transports. Greedy airline manufacturers and profit-hungry airlines stand in the way of aircraft safety progress. So much for the profit motive funding human virtue! NOT!

The flying wing approach was later emulated by the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
This is not the first or the last progress sabotage by fascist-Nazi Illuminati sympathetic tube & wing aircraft manufacturers against BWB designs. There is ample evidence that the YB-49 was sabotaged by Convair (today called General Dynamics--a notoriously corrupt and incompetent manufacturer of crap equipment that murders U.S. servicemen re: Strykers and EFVs) during its epic west coast-to-east coast flight (done in just 4 hours and 25 minutes) where oil was kept from 4 of its jet engines and overly filling the plane with fuel during taxi tests resulting in a nose wheel collapse and fire.

On 4 February 1949, the first YB-49 flew from Muroc Air Force Base in California to Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, D.C. in 4 hours 25 minutes.[2] The return flight from Andrews was marred when four of the eight engines had to be shut down for oil starvation. Inspection after a successful emergency landing at Winslow Airport, Arizona revealed no oil had been replaced in these engines at Wright after the Muroc-to-Andrews leg, [2] raising a suspicion of industrial sabotage.[1]
The last operational YB-49 prototype was destroyed on March 15, 1950 during high-speed taxi trials at Muroc Field. The nosewheel began to encounter severe vibration problems and finally collapsed. [2] The aircraft was completely destroyed in the ensuing fire. The taxi trials took place with the YB-49's fuel tanks full, an unusual testing procedure, fanning further speculation of industrial sabotage of the aircraft.
But only two months later, all Flying Wing contracts were cancelled abruptly without explanation by order of Stuart Symington, Secretary of the Air Force. Shortly thereafter, Symington also turned down a request from the Smithsonian for the Air Force to donate one of these big wings to its collection of pioneering Northrop aircraft designs.
But in a 1979 videotaped news interview, Jack Northrop broke his long silence and said publicly that all flying wing contracts had been cancelled because Northrop Aircraft Corporation had refused to merge with competitor Convair at Stuart Symington's strong suggestion, because according to Jack Northrop, Convair's merger demands were "grossly unfair to Northrop.".[3] A short while later, Symington became president of Convair upon leaving his post as Secretary of the Air Force.[4] Allegations of political influences in the cancellation of the flying wing were investigated by the House Armed Services Committee, where Symington publicly denied exerting pressure on Northrup to merge.
His son, John Northrop Jr., later recounted during an interview his father's devastation and life-long suspicion that his Flying Wing project had been sabotaged by political influence and back room wheeling-and-dealing between Convair and the Air Force.

In the years during and immediately after World War II, aviation pioneer John K. Northrop developed and tested an odd-looking, jet-propelled bomber that he believed would revolutionize aircraft design. With no fuselage and no tail, the craft was aptly dubbed the "Flying Wing," and the Air Force selected it to replace the war-tested B-29.
Then, in 1949, Flying Wing production was abruptly canceled and all test planes were ordered destroyed.
For three decades, Northrop has refused to discuss why this promising airplane--the culmination of his lifelong dream -- was scrapped so suddenly.
But in a dramatic taped interview broadcast last week, the 85-year-old Northrop Corp. founder finally told his secret The Flying Wing was canceled, he said, because he refused to obey an Air Force order that he merge his then-fledgling company with a more established competitive firm. When he balked, Northrop said, the Air Force summarily awarded the bomber contract to the competing firm.
Northrop said he kept quiet for all these years because he feared the Pentagon would blackball his company if he disclosed the story. He said he even committed perjury before Congress to hide the facts.
Northrop's allegation shed new light on a generation-old controversy that has become one of the biggest mysteries in American aviation. But it also raised new questions that may never be answered.
In a precise unemotional tone, Northrop told his story to longtime aerospace reporter Clete Roberts in an interview on Los Angeles Public Television station KCET. Since that interview, taped in October, 1979, Northrop has suffered a series of strokes that have left him seriously ill and unable to speak.
The 14-month delay between the interview and its broadcast as part of the KCET documentary last week was due partly to delays in gathering additional material for the telecast and partly to a postponement request by Northrop.
Northrop's story was corroborated by Richard W. Millar, 81, who witnessed the drama as chairman of the Hawthorne-based aerospace company at the time and who still serves as Northrop vice chairman. But Millar, also interviewed by Roberts, has refused to respond to other questions since the broadcast, saying only that his taped statements "provide an accurate account" of the Flying Wing cancellation.
The Air Force secretary accused of issuing the merger order, former Sen. Stuart Symington (D-Mo.), 79; refused to be interviewed by Roberts. Repeated attempts by The Times to reach both the elder Symington and his son, also a former congressman, were unsuccessful. Most of the other witnesses to events surrounding the Flying Wing cancellation are dead.
Based on the KCET broadcast and subsequent interviews by The Times with Northrop's son and others familiar with the story, however, the picture emerges of a man in a 30-year struggle between his love for the company that bears his name, and for the aircraft that was to be his contribution to aeronautical history.
Northrop, who has long felt his plane had been wronged by history, finally decided to tell his story after becoming convinced--incorrectly as it turned out--that the National Aeronautics & Space Administration was about to resurrect his basic idea. [EDITOR: he couldn't tell you at the time of the article--1980--that the USAF was going to utilize his idea! Read between-the-lines, journalists!]
The Flying Wing bomber was the product of more than 20 years of experimentation by Northrop, who believed as early as 1929 that a plane that was all wing would out-perform traditional designs featuring wings fuselage and tail assembly. By putting the 15-man crew eight engines and the bomb bay inside the wing, Northrop minimized the plane's drag and maximized its lift. As a result. the Flying Wing would carry a payload that was nearly equivalent to the plane's weight--a feat matched by no previous aircraft.
Wins Competition
To select a bomber to succeed World War II's B-29s, the Air Force pitted Northrop's Flying Wing, designated the B-35 and later the B-49, against a traditionally configured bomber built by Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp. (Convair), which later became a division of General Dynamics Corp. The Flying Wing won a competition against Convair's B-36 in 1948 and the Air Force awarded Northrop a contract to build 35 bombers with the possibility of ultimately producing 200 to 300 planes.
But Northrop's elation turned into disbelief when he and company chairman Millar were summoned to meet Symington shortly after winning the contract in June 1948, according to their taped statements.
Noting that his was "a very strange story and perhaps difficult to believe," Northrop told KCET reporter Roberts that Symington launched into a "lengthy diatribe" about how the Air Force did not want to sponsor any new aircraft companies because the Pentagon could not afford to support them with continuing business on declining post-war budgets. Then, Northrop said, Symington demanded that Northrop Corp. merge with Convair.
General Reacts
At that point, Northrop recalled, Brig. Gen. Joseph T. McNarney, commander of the Air Materiel Command and subsequently president of Convair said, "Oh, Mr. Secretary, you don't mean that the way it sounds."
"You're...right I do," Symington answered, according to Northrop and Millar.
Northrop and Millar told KCET's Roberts that they then visited Floyd Odium, head of Atlas Corp., which controlled Convair, to discuss a possible merger. But talks soon ended, Northrop said, because Odlum's demands were "grossly unfair to Northrop"
A few days later, Northrop recalled, Symington telephoned him and said, "I am canceling all of your Flying Wing aircraft."
"I said, 'Oh, Mr. Secretary, why?'"
"He said, I've had an adverse report,' and hung up," Northrop recounted. "And that was the last time I talked to him and the last time we could reach him by phone or any other way."
As part of the cancellation, Millar added, the Air Force ordered the destruction of seven Flying Wings then under construction. "Those airplanes were destroyed in front of the employees and everybody who had their heart and soul in it'" said Millar, his voice cracking.
After the Air Force canceled the Flying Wing and awarded the contract to the competing Convair B-36, a House Armed Services subcommittee held hearings in 1949 to investigate allegations that the Pentagon used coercion in its aircraft procurement practices.
Prompted by Rumors
According to press accounts at the time, the investigation was prompted by "ugly rumors" about Symington and other Pentagon officials. One rumor investigated--and denied by witnesses at the hearing--was that Symington had been considered to head the firm that would result from the proposed merger between Consolidated Vultee and Northrop.
Among the witnesses who denied seeing any evidence of Pentagon coercion was John K. Northrop.
Northrop testified that he did not "feel there was any unjustifiable or unreasonable pressure in the cancellation of the B-49 contract. I would call the move reasonable and logical." When asked under oath if he was in fear of Pentagon reprisal, Northrop laughed and said, "I have no fear of reprisal."
Thirty-one years later, when asked about his testimony by reporter Roberts, Northrop responded, "My reaction is that under pressure of the life or death of Northrop Corp., I committed one of the finest jobs of perjury that I've ever heard."
Northrop said in the taped interview that he did not tell the full story until now because he feared that Symington would cause the "complete obliteration" of his company. Millar said that the meeting with Symington was so "brutal and bare-faced" that "you almost had to assume that he would be prepared to take further steps if we didn't do as good boys and go along."
After serving as Air Force Secretary, Symington was elected to the U.S. Senate, where he remained for 24 years. He was an influential member of both the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, and unsuccessfully ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1960. He retired from the Senate in 1977.
Through his secretary in Washington, Symington told reporter Roberts that he "never did (the) sort of thing" alleged by Northrop and Millar.
Prior to Northrop's account, a popular explanation for the Flying Wing's demise was technical failures. The aircraft did exhibit stability and control problems during testing, and one test plane disintegrated during a routine night in 1948, killing all five crew members.
The Air Force was apparently convinced enough that problems were being corrected to award the production contract to Northrop just five days after the accident, however. The accident investigation proved inconclusive.
Because of Symington's refusal to answer questions and the death of such key witnesses as Gen. McNarney, Convair chief Odlum, and post-war Defense Secretary Louis Johnson, there may never be consensus on the fate of the Flying Wing.
Whatever the reasons, there is no question Northrop personally was devastated by the cancellation and destruction of the Flying Wing--his lifelong obsession.
In 1952, at the relatively early age of 57, Northrop abruptly retired and divested himself of all interest in the company he founded. "At that time, Jack essentially felt his career was over," said historian William A. Schoneberger, who is writing a book on Northrop's life.
According to his son, John H. Northrop of La Canada Northrop was particularly troubled by persistent historical accounts that portrayed the Flying Wing as a technical failure in light of its cancellation by the Air Force. The younger Northrop told The Times his father decided he could no longer remain silent. After reading that NASA was considering a Flying Wing design for an advanced, fuel-efficient cargo plane.
Northrop asked to meet with NASA officials in early 1979 to explain his ideas about the design--and to tell why his version was killed 30 years earlier.
"It was a fascinating story," said Gerald Kayten, deputy director of NASA's aeronautical systems divisions, who attended the half-day meeting at Northrop University in Inglewood. "But there really wasn't much of a meeting of minds. All Mr. Northrop seemed to be interested in was pointing out that his airplane was a pretty good airplane. He didn't need to convince us, because we already agreed with him." NASA already decided, however, to put the Flying Wing design "on a back burner" because it was best suited for much larger cargo planes than will be needed by military or commercial users for the next two decades, Kayten told The Times.
Nonetheless, in a letter sent to Northrop after the meeting, NASA Administrator Robert A. Frosch acknowledged Northrop's pioneering work and said "our analyses confirmed your much earlier conviction as to the load-carrying and efficiency advantages of this design approach."
Armed with this evidence that the wisdom of his approach finally was being recognized by the government, Northrop asked the company's present management for permission to tell his story, according to Northrop's son.
Even after telling his story to Roberts, Northrop had second thoughts and asked the reporter to delay broadcasting the interview for several months, according to the KCET reporter. "Then one day he called and said 'Go ahead, Clete. It's all clear now,'" Roberts recalled.
Northrop, now seriously ill in a Glendale hospital, was given a private screening of the documentary before it was broadcast. He could not speak to give his reaction, his son said, but "he put his hands together and shook them, like a fighter does, to show us he was pleased."
Ben Rich of the rival Lockheed Skunk Works repeats the "technical problems" excuse for the YB-49 "never getting off the ground" which smacks of his own bias since the aircraft not only proved itself in the air with range, speed records but probably beat Rich's team to the radar stealth punch by 4 decades, too. The small RCS of the B-49 was known at the time, leading to my suspicion that pro-Nazi elements within the U.S. deliberately sabotaged the flying wing to keep the USAF locked into non-stealthy, easily shot-down tube & wing designs like the high-flying but fatally slow Convair B-36 for decades to come.

If we want to do special operations flying right, we need relatively small aircraft no larger than a C-130 that can land with extreme STOL capabilities (ESTOL):
Even small single-engined aircraft like the Lysander and AN-2 if fitted with wheels will get stuck and crash trying to land on unimproved surfaces. Tracked landing gear or even better air cushion landing gear are what we need to advance in this endeavor. V/TOL by tilt-rotors that cannot be made stealthy are not the answer. Commander Ian Fleming had Hitler and Eva Braun flown out of Berlin to Spain in a RAF Lysander that had to be carefully found a landing spot outside the city using a mini-submarine to get the mass murderer and wife to the RZ location.

Flying by moonlight, No. 161 Squadron, RAF, slipped into occupied France to deliver precious cargoes of secret agents.As the fist of Germany tightened on the European nations subjugated by the Blitzkrieg operations of 1939 and 1940, hitherto isolated groups of resistance were consolidating and organising links with the free world. Knowing that their assistance would be invaluable in the struggle against Germany, Britain was anxious to encourage them with agents and supplies of equipment. With the expansion of the French partisan movement, known as the maquis, and similar movements elsewhere in occupied Europe including Czechoslovakia, Poland and Yugoslavia, Britain was soon in need of air squadrons specialising in serving the resistance groups.
No. 161 Squadron, brought into the fray in February 1942, was formed at Newmarket in Suffolk around a nucleus supplied by elements of the disbanded King's Flight and of No. 138 Squadron. Wing Commander E H. "Mouse" Fielden, who previously was captain of the King's Flight, became No 161 Squadron's first commanding officer, and the new squadron's aircraft, an assortment of Lysanders and bombers, included one Lockheed Hudson from the disbanded unit.
On the night of 27/28 February 1942, Flight Lieutenant A.M. "Sticky" Murphy, piloting a Lysander carried out the squadron's frost pick-up operation Everything went according to plan, unlike an earlier sortie flown by Murphy when he was serving with No. 138 Squadron. On that occasion he had landed on a field in Belgium and come under fire from German troops lying in ambush. Although wounded m the neck and losing a lot of blood, he, nonetheless, succeeded in flying his Lysander back to Tangmere. In March 1942, Murphy was promoted to squadron leader and took command of "A" Flight. His next mission to France was rather unusual, as it was the only occasion on which an Avro Anson borrowed from a training unit was used for a pick-up operation. It was needed because four passengers were to be collected from a field near Issoudun, and the Lysander's normal passenger load was only two. Although visibility was poor, which made visual navigation difficult, Murphy eventually reached the landing zone. "Landing completed without trouble and the four passengers embarked very rapidly," he later reported. One of these passengers was Squadron Leader J. "Whippy" Nesbitt Dufort, a Lysander Special Duty pilot of No. 138 Squadron who had been forced by heavy ice to crashland in France during a pick-up operation on 28 January. After a month in hiding with the resistance, he was relieved to be rescued and breezily reported of his homeward flight: "The skill of the pilot and the navigator proved in this case to be exceptional, as we were only lost the majority of the way home."
In March 1942, No. 161 Squadron moved from Newmarket (where it had operated from the famous race course) to Graveley in Huntingdonshire, before settling at Tempsford, Bedfordshire, in April. This airfield, which it shared with No. 138 Squadron, then became the centre of RAF Special Duty operations: "It was not much of a station," thought Squadron Leader Hugh Verity. "It was a rush job quickly built in wartime, like hundreds of others. Officers' mess, station headquarters, squadron offices and all the rest were temporary huts," A farmhouse on the site, Gibraltar Farm, was used by the SOE to prepare agents for parachute drops and to store supply containers, while the Lysander missions were generally flown from the forward base at RAF Tangmere in Sussex, where No. 161 Squadron used a cottage opposite the main gates as their crew room.
The Lysanders used for pick-up operations were stripped of all armament and carved a 150 gallon auxiliary fuel tank beneath the fuselage to order to increase endurance to eight hours. A ladder was fitted to provide easy access to the rear cockpit, which usually accommodated two persons but could take three or even four adults cramped together. Since the pilot had to navigate himself over enemy territory, usually relying solely on map-reading, it was essential that operations took place within the full-moon periods Wing Commander Lewis Hodges, commanding officer of No. 161 Squadron during 1943/44, who was destined to retire from the RAF as Air Chief Marshal Sir Lewis Hodges, recalled:
"Our lives were governed by the phases of the moon. We needed moonlight to map read by; we needed moonlight to find our way to the dropping zones for parachuting and to the small fields that served as landing grounds; and we needed moonlight to be able to see the ground clearly enough to make a safe landing."
The resistance "reception committees" were warned by a cryptic radio message over the BBC's French service that a pick-up or parachute drop was scheduled for them that night. The pre-selected landing fields had to have an approach unobstructed by tall trees or other obstacles, and were expected to provide a firm and level surface of at least 600 yds in length. However, in practice many fields fell far short of these requirements, sometimes with serious consequences. The reception committee was responsible for laying out a rudimentary flare path, consisting of three lamps, to mark a landing run into the direction of the wind. Once the Lysander pilot had found the field, an identifying code letter was flashed to him in morse to signal that all was well. The Lysander would come in to land and turn into the wind to be ready for take-off, before disembarking its agents, (invariably known as "Does" or "Janes", according to sex) and picking up those to be carried out. The time on the ground was naturally kept to a minimum, and a smooth pick-up could be accomplished within three minutes.
Parachute dropping operations, which were far more frequent than landings, employed broadly similar procedures. The dropping zone was marked by a pattern of lights, and the reception committee again identified itself to the Special Duty pilot by a code letter. The supply containers, sometimes accompanied by agents, were then dropped from an altitude which was sufficiently high to ensure that the parachutes deployed properly, but not so high that the containers were scattered over a wide area This kind of operation called for precise flying skills if the loads were to be delivered within the designated dropping zone. By 1944 the job of supply dropping had been made easier by the introduction of the Eureka/Rebecca navigation beacon system, which enabled the aircraft to home onto the dropping zone.
The pilot and reception committee were also able to communicate using the "S-phone". In theory, all the Special Duty pilots were proficient in French and at least one member of each reception committee was to have received training in basic flying control techniques, but since, in practise, these requirements were often relaxed, the S-phone was not always particularly useful.
Despite the operational dangers it faced: 161 Squadron's casualties were not especially heavy, a fact attributable largely to the high standards of navigation and airmanship achieved by its crew. Enemy action was an ever-present threat, with the Special Duty aircraft being vulnerable to German flak and nightfighters when in the air, and to ambush when landing in France. In the event, two Lysanders were lost to German anti-aircraft fire, but the only ambush attempted by the enemy failed to prevent Flight Lieutenant "Sticky" Murphy from returning to base. Bad weather, especially when it involved poor visibility and ice, was another hazard. On one disastrous night, 16/17 December 1943, two Lysanders were lost and their pilots killed when they crashed in fog while trying to land at the end of a mission. Again, aircraft were frequently damaged or bogged down after landing on unsuitable fields. For example, on 16/17 April 1943, Flight Lieutenant John Bridger's Lysander hit a high-tension cable when attempting to land on a field south of Clermont-Ferrand. The blinding flash temporarily destroyed his night vision, but he kept control of the aircraft and landed to disembark his passengers. One of the mainwheel tyres had burst and Bridger decided to puncture the other with a shot from his revolver in order to make his take‑off easier. Fortunately the wheel rims did not dig into the ground and he was able to return safely to base.
The landing strips were sometimes found to be too boggy to take the weight of an aircraft, and on several occasions pilots were forced to abandon their trapped aircraft in France. One of the less serious of these incidents took place on the night of 24/25 February 1943 and involved a twin-engined Lockheed Hudson. Its pilot was Wing Commander P.C. Pickard, who had relieved Fielden as commanding officer of No. 161 Squadron on 1 October 1942, when the latter was promoted to Group Captain and given command of RAF Tempsford. Pickard was probably the best known bomber pilot in the RAF at that time, thanks to his role as the captain of the Wellington "F-for-Freddie" in the documentary film "Target for Tonight" he was subsequently to be killed in action in February 1944 when leading the famous Mosquito raid on Amiens prison. Pickard had carried out the first pick-up sortie flown by a Hudson on the night of 13/14 February and this had gone according to plan. However, on the more eventful mission 11 nights later, his aircraft had become stuck in a patch of muddy ground and, as one squadron member recalled, "his crew were armed to the teeth with revolvers, Sten guns and so on, but not so much as a teaspoon to dig themselves out." Eventually they succeeded in freeing the aircraft hindered rather than helped by an excited crowd of French villagers only to see the aircraft become bogged down again, By the time that the Hudson had been freed a second time dawn was approaching, and the aircraft was fortunate to reach England unmolested by German fighters.
The experience of Flight Lieutenant Robin Hooper on 16/17 November 1943 was even more nerve racking. His outward flight was uneventful and he recalled:
"After two unsuccessful attempts I got down off a very tight low circuit (even for a Lizzie!), dropping in rather fast and rather late through the mist. I soon realised that the ground was very soft indeed...At first, when I braked the wheels just locked and slid; but very soon it was a question of using quite a lot of throttle to keep moving at all and it seemed best to keep moving at all costs. Turning was all but impossible since the wheels dug into deep grooves. Finally we managed to turn 90° to port and there stuck. The aircraft was immovable even with +6 boost, so I told the passengers to get out and got down myself to inspect. We were bogged to spat level; the ground appeared to be wet, soggy water meadow. The reception committee came running up: I organised them to push and we attempted some more +6 boost without the slightest effect, except perhaps to settle the wheels a little more firmly in their ruts ...
At this point someone suggested getting some bullocks from the nearest farm; after a certain amount of fuss this was agreed to and a small, well-armed party set off to collect bullocks, spades and some planks or brushwood...The rest of us continued to dig trenches in front of the wheels with the idea of making a kind of inclined plane up which they could be pulled. About 20 minutes later, an odd procession loomed out of the mist; two very large bullocks trailing clanking chains, the farmer, his wife, his two daughters and the three chaps from the reception committee. The farmer shook me warmly by the hand and asked me when the British were going to land in France, and got to work."
Despite the efforts of this team, later augmented by a further two bullocks, the Lysander remained firmly stuck. Flight Lieutenant Hooper decided to burn the aircraft and go into hiding with the resistance. He was picked up by Wing Commander Hodges a month later.
The liberation of France greatly reduced the calls on the Special Duty squadrons' services, although drops of supplies and agents continued over other areas under enemy control. No. 161 Squadron's last pick-up operation was flown on 5/6 September 1944, by which time over 200 such missions had been successfully accomplished. The squadron's contribution to the Allied war effort was greater than that figure suggests. In all some 6700 agents had been flown into Occupied Europe, of which not many more than 400 had been carried during pick-up operations. Yet the latter flights had extracted more than 600 persons out of enemy territory and it was this service which was so uniquely valuable to the Allied resistance and intelligence networks. Moreover, No. 161 Squadron had made a significant contribution to the dropping of supplies to resistance forces, which in all received some 42,800 tons of materials supplied by air.
For the crest of its official badge, No. 161 Squadron adopted the motif of an open fetterlock. Its motto is "Liberate". Neither is an overstatement of the vital role played by the squadron in releasing Europe from the yoke of Nazi occupation.

Created by Kelly Johnson's "skunk works"--a small, talented elite team (instead of a large bureaucracy of mediocre persons) beginning on a napkin, the P-38 lay-out was emulated by Howard Hughes contra-prop F-11 to squeeze out a little bit more speed and altitude--but the advent of the jet engine offered flight performance improvement at least one order of magnitude higher.
Paul Crickmore in his book Lockheed's Blackworld Skunk Works: The U-2, SR-71 and F-117, reveals the desperate straits the west was in when WW2 ended when it came to over-flying the Soviet Union for reconnaissance with prop-driven planes. Even jets were vulnerable if they didn't have a speed or height advantage:
It first occurred on 11th April 1950,
when a U.S. Navy Consolidated PB4Y Privateer, operated by VP-26 and with a crew of ten onboard, was shot
down and crashed into the Baltic, off Soviet Latvia.
In April 1952, an Air France DC-4 was attacked and damaged in the Berlin corridor and less than two months later, a Swedish Air Force C-47 was downed into the Baltic Sea east of Gotland. Even a search and rescue PBY was attacked whilst looking for survivors; the Russians certainly meant business. Four months later, MiG-15s destroyed a reconnoitring RB-29. On 10 March 1953, a USAF F-84 Thunderjet was shot down over Bavaria by Czech MiG-15s. Two days later an RAF Lincoln (RF-531) of the central gunnery school, was shot down in the Berlin Corridor by MiG-15s; seven crew lost their lives.
Clearly, the West needed high-flying jet spy planes. RB-45s were supplied to the RAF and their Canberra were put to work, but at best they could only get a marginal increase in speed/altitude.
On 15 March 1953, an RB-50 of the 38th SRS, 55th SRW, flown by Lt. Colonel Robert Rich was intercepted by Soviet MiG-15s. The gunner, T/Sgt. Jesse Prim, returned fire and the MiGs withdrew. However, on 29 July, another RB-50 from the same wing was not so lucky. Attacked by MiG-15s during a reconnaissance flight near the Soviet border, the RB-50 lost a wing and fell into the Sea of Japan. Co-pilot Captain John E. Roche was the only survivor.
In June 1948, the Soviet Union enforced a food blockade upon the western zones of Berlin. The allies
responded by mounting a round-the-clock airlift; the United States highlighted the seriousness of the situation
by re-deploying bombers back to Britain. As allied reconnaissance operations continued, it was only a
question of time before such actions provoked the ultimate response.
I remember my father telling me that after his WW2 service in the Army, he was in the USAF as a part of a B-47 unit as a radio repairman (our last name is ideal for this job!) and losing some of his buddies to a MIG shoot-down during a spy mission.
Seaberg Wanted 70K Altitude; Rejected the U-2 Design, Yet Johnson Prevailed: It Must Fly Higher than 70K

As the cost in air crew's lives continued to mount it became apparent that a new approach to gathering such vital intelligence was needed. With high altitude having already been established as the "operational environment" for such missions, it was a U.S. Air Force Major who articulated the way forward. Having spent some time as an aeronautical engineer with Chance Vought, John Seaberg had been recalled to active duty following the outbreak of the Korean War. It was whilst serving as Assistant Chief in the New Developments Office, Bombardment Branch, at Wright Field, near Dayton, Ohio, that he mapped out high altitude strategic reconnaissance philosophy, proposing to mate an aircraft with an extremely efficient high-aspect-ratio wing to the new generation of turbo jet engines. Utilizing such a union, he believed an aircraft would be capable of cruising at altitudes far in excess of any other then in service. Spurred on by his new boss, William Lamar, Seaberg had, by March 1953, created a formal specification, requiring the aircraft to cruise at an altitude of 70,000 feet, possess a range of 1,500 nautical miles, whilst carrying a camera payload weight of up to 700lbs to be in service by 1956. These initial proposals were subsequently released to just three of the smaller aircraft manufacturing companies; the rationale being that as large-scale production was not envisioned, the project would receive a higher priority than if placed with the larger players.Bell and Fairchild were requested to submit proposals for the design and construction of a totally new aircraft; whilst Martin were asked to apply improvements to the B-57 (a design built under license by them, but actually developed by the English Electric Company and known in RAF service as the Canberra). In July 1953, six-month study contracts had been agreed with each company and the project, identified as MX-2147, was given the classified code name of "Bald Eagle".

Crickmore reveals the behind-the-scenes maneuvering that got Lockheed the job over the Bell X-16:
It was perhaps inevitable that someone in the Pentagon would leak details of the classified high-altitude reconnaissance proposal to Lockheed's Advanced Development Projects boss, aircraft design genius, Clarence L. "Kelly" Johnson. However, after a short but detailed review, Seaburg and his staff rejected the Lockheed design, designated CL-282, and in June 1954 Kelly received a letter officially rejecting his proposal. Undaunted, Kelly decided to pursue funding from alternative sources. Shortly afterwards he therefore presented a refined design submission to a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) study committee.With the Killian Committee having been briefed earlier on all four "Bald Eagle" contenders and the CIA becoming increasingly enamoured of the idea of establishing its own airborne reconnaissance capability, Kelly met with the Government Advisory Board on 19 November 1954. During the course of that meeting he was told that he..."was essentially being drafted for the project".
The Killian Committee's decision to back the refined CL-282 proposal was communicated to Secretary of Defence, Charles Wilson and CIA Director, Allen Dulles. They subsequently briefed President Eisenhower and sought authorisation for a programme to produce twenty aircraft at a total cost of $35 million. This was duly sanctioned.
Read the above carefully. If the X-16 and RB-57 could reach 70, 000 why not tell Kelly Johnson to go fly a kite?

Jet Spy Planes
The U-2 spy plane was legally and illegally funded by the AmeroNazi Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to hype the Cold War against the Soviet Communists. Actual U-2 operating altitude is usually stated as 70, 000 feet--but Rich admits to 74, 500 feet in test flights. 1966 model U-2Rs are claimed to be able to fly above 75, 000 feet--5, 000 more feet to be exact--making the admitted ceiling 79, 500 feet. Then with the turbofan-powered U-2S another 3, 500 feet of altitude was claimed making for a total of 83, 000 feet. Even this could be more "limited hang-out" admissions--as actual altitude likely is higher. Rich smugly proclaimed it to be "70, 000" when President-elect Clinton asked. More proof that he can--and did lie on occasion.

LARRY GILMANThe U-2 is a jet-powered reconnaissance aircraft specially designed to fly at high altitudes (i.e., above 70,000 ft [21 km]). It was used during the late 1950s to overfly the Soviet Union, China, the Middle East, and Cuba; flights over the Soviet Union, the primary mission for which the plane was designed, ended in 1960 when a U-2 flown by CIA pilot Gary Powers was shot down over the Soviet Union. This event was a major political embarrassment for the U.S. A redesigned version of the U-2, the U-2R, was used from the late 1960s through the 1990s. Background. Shortly after the end of World War II, the tenuous alliance between the Soviet Union, the United States, and the nations of Western Europe ruptured. The Soviets took control of Eastern Europe, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was formed by the U.S. and its European allies, and the Cold War began in earnest. Tensions were high, and war between NATO and the Soviet Union often seemed imminent. Military planners desired what they termed "pre-D-day intelligence" about the Soviet order of battle, that is, information about the Soviet military obtained before a war began. Spy satellites would not become available until the early 1960s, leaving aircraft as the primary means of obtaining up-to-date information about Soviet military and industrial activities.

However, the plane could not ready until 1956; in the meantime, high-altitude, unmanned balloons were used to carry camera packages over the Soviet Union. These balloons, code-named Genetrix balloons, were launched in Norway, Scotland, Turkey, and West Germany, from whence they were carried by global tradewinds across the Soviet Union to recovery zones over the Pacific Ocean. Some 379 Genetrix balloons entered Soviet airspace in 1955 and 1956; 235 were shot down by MiGs or antiaircraft guns, and only 44 were recovered. The success rate would have been higher except that President Dwight Eisenhower had ordered that the balloons not fly at their true maximum altitude (70,000 ft [21 km]); he reasoned that if the balloons were restricted to an altitude ceiling of 55,000 ft (17 km), where the Soviets could shoot them down most of the time, the Soviets would not be motivated to develop high-altitude interceptors that could be later used against the U-2.

Gary Powers, shown while an Air Force Reserve pilot, later flew an American U-2 spy plane over Russia in 1960 and was shot down, held prisoner, was subjected to a public show-trial, and ultimately returned to the West in exchange for a Russian spy.
Design. The U-2 is built much like a glider, with ultralight construction and long, narrow wings that measure 80 ft (24 m) from tip to tip, longer than the plane itself. (The U-2C, first flown in 1978, has a wingspan of 103 ft [31 m].) Wings of this type, mounted at right angles to the body of an aircraft, provide high lift (i.e., upward aerodynamic force resulting from airflow around the wing); this is necessary at 70,000 ft because the atmosphere is so thin. The U-2's cruising altitude takes it so close to outer space that the sky above appears black and the curvature of the Earth is visible.
The U-2 had other features intended to reduce its weight and thus increase its cruising altitude and range. The wings were bolted to the body of the aircraft rather than supported, as in standard jet aircraft of that period, by a spar running right through the fuselage. The tail assembly was held on by only three bolts; the skin of the fuselage was thin aluminum; flight controls were manually powered, so the pilot flew the plane by muscle power; and there was no radar. In-line "bicycle"-type landing gear was employed, consisting of a main unit under the plane's nose and small wheel at the tail; upon landing, the U-2 would taxi to a halt and then tip over onto one wing. For takeoff, small detachable supports or "pogos" held the wings off the ground and were dropped when the plane was airborne.
A camera package termed the A-2 was installed in the aircraft's belly; it contained three still cameras, one pointing straight down and the other two pointing to the left and right of the aircraft's direction of travel, as well as a tracking camera that filmed a continuous record of the plane's mission.
Development of the U-2 and of reconnaissance balloons required numerous test flights over the United States. The balloons were often visible from the ground as metallic-looking ellipses, and prototype U-2 planes were sometimes spotted from civilian airliners; these sightings giving rise to many reports of unidentified flying objects (though to be alien spacecraft). Because the devices actually causing the sightings were secret, the government offered often uncreditable explanations for the sightings, inadvertently helping to encourage bizarre UFO beliefs.
Because of the need to fly light, the U-2 does not carry weapons. Nor can it undertake evasive maneuvers if fired upon, for it is delicate, and breaks up if subjected to strong forces. It is designed to fly high and far.
Deployment. On June 20, 1956, the first U-2 flight over a "denied area"-Warsaw Pact airspace-was made. The flight passed over Czechoslovakia, Poland, and East Germany. On July 1956, flights over the Soviet Union itself commenced, with a flight over Leningrad to photograph the shipyards. MiG fighters attempted to intercept the U-2, which was detected by Soviet radars, but were unable to attain its altitude. The next day a U-2 overflew Moscow itself, photographing the Kliningrad missile factory and Khimki rocket-engine factory north of the city.
Although the U.S. did not officially admit the existence of the U-2 flights, due to Soviet diplomatic protests President Eisenhower ordered all U-2 overflights of the Soviet Union temporarily suspended late in 1956. U-2s were used during this interval to spy on French and British actions in the Middle East during the Suez Crisis. Eisenhower ordered U-2 flights resumed after the Soviets crushed the Hungarian rebellion of October 1956. This Soviet aggression heightened tensions between NATO and the Warsaw Pact and increased the U.S. desire for intelligence data. Over the next few years, the U-2 was flown over China and Vietnam as well the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and the Soviet Union.
On May 1, 1960, a U-2 was shot down over Russia by a surface-to-air missile. The pilot was captured, tried for espionage, and sentenced to 10 years in prison. (He was traded for a captured Soviet spy two years later.) No more overflights of the Soviet Union were attempted. Coincidentally, however, the U.S. spy satellite program accomplished its first recovery of a film packet from space on the day that Powers was sentenced (August 19, 1960). The U-2 was, therefore, no longer a unique source of intelligence about affairs inside Soviet territory. However, it still had an important role to play in military history. On October 14, 1962, a U-2 flying over Cuba took pictures that proved that the Soviet Union had established sites for launching medium-range ballistic missiles in Cuba. The presence of these nuclear-armed missiles in Cuba, combined with U.S. insistence that they be removed, gave rise to the Cuban Missile Crisis, which almost resulted in war between the U.S. and Soviet Union in October 1962.
Despite radical improvements in spy satellite capabilities since the 1960s, U-2 planes continue to provide some intelligence data. Some experts believe that U-2S photographs of North Korean facilities were the basis of the U.S. discovery in October 2002 that North Korea was producing enriched uranium for nuclear weapons. In 2003, proposed U-2S overflights of Iraq to support United Nations weapons inspections were a subject of controversy between the U.S. and Iraq. Furthermore, a civilian version of the U-2, the ER-2, is used by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration for Earth-resources research. The ER-2 has even made flights over Russia-with official permission.

When U-2 imagery began to show that the Soviets were lying about their actual military capabilities, the CIA doing the bidding of the Rockefeller MILINDINTELCOMP lost interest in a means that threatened their Cold War racket. Rich reveals that before the U-2 was available, a RAF Canberra was stripped down to achieve a 55, 000 feet altitude--but when sent to recon the Soviet bases was shot-up badly due to the traitor Kim Philby acting within MI6/SIS as a double agent giving them advance warning.
We also know that the Gehlen Nazi faction within the CIA ran phony defectors into the Soviet Union from Japan and that marine radar operator Lee Harvey Oswald participant to "C" detachment U-2 flight operations at Atsugi air base was one of these. When President John F. Kennedy (JFK) blamed the CIA for the Bay of Pigs failed invasion fiasco, Oswald was brought back to be the designated patsy for the former's assassination.
U-2 Spy Flights
Ben Rich reveals in his book, Skunk Works that CIA Director Allen Dulles deliberately refused warnings from USAF General Nathan Twining that Francis Gary Powers' ridiculously long flight across the entire width of Russia (Operation GRAND SLAM) would be flying into alerted Soviet air defenses.
On pages 158-161, Rich elaborates:
[CIA U-2 Program Manager] Bissell told Kelly that Allen Dulles had wrested one final flight out of the president, provided it took place two weeks before the Paris summit. The target date was May 1, 1960, the Soviet May Day; akin to our Fourth of July. We hoped to catch them with their defenses down, with only skeleton crews at work.
As it turned out, our black box and the route of the mission finally selected would seal the fate of that tragic last flight. Ike had signed off on two mission options and left the final decision to the CIA. The choices were missions code-named Time Step, which would overfly certain key nuclear and missile test sites, and GRAND SLAM, a marathon nine-hour mission from Pakistan clear across Russia to land at a base in Bodo, Norway. The heart of GRAND SLAM was overflying Tyuratam, then heading south to photograph the huge military- industrial complexes at Sverdlovsk and Plesetsk. All were heavily defended.
The two plans were sent for review to the Air Force Chief of Staff, General Nathan Twining, who quickly spotted a flaw in the GRAND SLAM mission and called Allen Dulles to personally urge changes. Twining had noticed that the proposed mission repeated the exact route into Sverdlovsk from the south used less than a month earlier by U-2 pilot Marty Knutson. "Allen, if you come in that way again, they'll know exactly where you are heading and will just be lying in wait. You'll get nailed."
Dulles obviously didn't agree. He personally chose GRAND SLAM with no changes
Because the mission would be so demanding and long, covering 3,700 miles from Pakistan to Norway, the agency chose its most experienced pilot and the best navigator of the group - thirty-four-year-old Francis Gary Powers. The pilot had twenty-seven U-2 missions logged, including several marathon-length flights across the eastern Mediterranean in 1956 to gather intelligence on the movements of British and French warships participating with Israel in attacking Egypt during the Suez crisis.
Eisenhower was ready to approve the follow-up flight, but the State Department heard about it and Secretary of State Christian Herter was strongly opposed. Herter had replaced John Foster Dulles, who had died of cancer earlier in the year, and was worried that any overflight might upset the delicate planning that had revolved around a summit in Paris between Ike and Khrushchev scheduled to start on May 14.
Powers took off at dawn from Peshawar, Pakistan, on Sunday, May 1, 1960. Flying across the Soviet border for the first time from Pakistan was another way to catch the Russians napping. And for the first three hours into the flight the plan worked perfectly. He flew over Tyuratam without difficulty then changed course and headed south toward Sverdlovsk, on the same flight plan as Knutson's only weeks earlier. As he approached the Sverdlovsk complex, Powers was suddenly blinded by a brilliant orange flash and felt an explosion from behind.
His right wing dropped and he began pitching down. His instincts told him his tail had been hit as the airplane began a steep nosedive. In horror he saw his wings rip off. His pressure suit inflated, squeezing him in a viselike grip, and his faceplate began to frost.
As his chute opened, Powers was startled to see another chute opening in the distance. Whatever hit him had also hit a Soviet pilot as well. He landed hard in a farmer's field. Several villagers came running to him. They weren't unfriendly and had no idea he was an American because he was too stunned to even say a word while they conversed among themselves excitedly. They finally helped him to a truck and drove him off. He would later learn they were driving him to the local airport, assuming he was a Russian pilot and not knowing what else to do with him. At some point, though, the truck was stopped by the militia. The police grabbed Powers and took him away. Cagey Khrushchev waited for Eisenhower to arrive in Paris for the summit before announcing that the Russians had shot down a U-2 spy plane. The administration called that a "fantastic allegation." Eisenhower denied spy flights, and then on the eve of the summit Khrushchev announced that the pilot had been captured and confessed his spy mission. The pilot was named Francis Gary Powers.
Eisenhower was humiliated and forced to admit the U-2 spy operation, which he said was justified since Khrushchev had recently turned down his Open Skies proposal. To mollify the Russians and save the summit, Ike announced we would end the flights, which he had privately
Inside the Skunk Works we were, no less stunned that Powers had survived than the CIA and the White House. The agency was livid at Powers for not dying in the hit or taking his own life, even though using the poison needle that had replaced the cyanide pill in a pilot's kit was entirely optional.

But some of the more macho patriots around the Skunk Works agreed with their opposite numbers thundering around at the CIA that Powers was a damned traitor for not self-destructing. And they meant it! Because he was chicken, the president endured a terrible international humiliation. Powers' survival also embarrassed Dulles and Bissell, who had assured the president, presumably in good faith, that not much would be left of a U-2 or a pilot if shot down by a missile. Powers was also faulted for not pulling a seventy-second delayed explosive charge before bailing out that would have destroyed the film and cameras and kept them out of the hands of the KGB.

There was little sympathy for Powers, who was kept incommunicado inside the notorious Lubianka prison for months before enduring a propaganda show trial that heaped embarrassment on the agency and the administration for more than three weeks. Powers was sentenced harshly to ten years at hard labor and served nearly two years before being exchanged in February 1962, for the captured Russian master Rudolf Abel; a decision that only enraged many at the CIA even more.
Moreover, the U-2 Powers flew, called "article 360" had previously been damaged in a "C" detachment test flight, rebuilt by the Skunk Works and sent to "B" detachment in Turkey where it developed a reputation as a problem-prone "hanger queen". Spyflight.co.uk reports:
Whilst conducting a test flight in Article 360 from Det "C" in Atsugi in Japan, Tom Crull encountered problems on a test flight and eventually ran out of fuel. With great skill Tom Crull managed to dead-stick the aircraft onto a small civilian airfield at Fujisawa, where it was promptly surrounded and photographed by curious Japanese civilians. The damaged U-2C aircraft was shipped back to Lockheed in the USA for repairs. Article 360 was then returned to Detachment "B" at Adana in Turkey where it gained a reputation as a "Hanger Queen". For a variety of reasons Article 360 ended up being flown by Gary Powers on Mission 4154, Operation GRAND SLAM, when he was shot down.
Clearly, Powers was being set-up to be the "fall guy".
The implications are that pro-German Nazi traitor Dulles wanted the U-2 to be shot-down to ruin the upcoming peace conference between Soviet premier Khrushchev and President Eisenhower.
Ian Fleming stated in his James Bond 007 books that Powers' U-2 was sabotaged such that it could be brought down to Soviet missile intercept altitude. Nigel West reports in his Historical Dictionary of Ian Fleming's World of Intelligence:
Notice in his 1959 book Goldfinger, he has the villain's operation named "GRAND SLAM"--the same as Powers' doomed flight later in 1960. Perhaps Dulles got the name from Fleming's book? Of course, in American baseball, hitting a home run when bases are loaded is a "grand slam"; but the British don't play baseball they play cricket. In WW2, the biggest bomb a RAF Lancaster bomber could drop was called the "grand slam".
In You Only Live Twice, Fleming (who visited Japan for MI6/SIS under cover as a journalist while American U-2 flights were underway) has Japanese air reconnaissance provide the intelligence required for James Bond to infiltrate into the mysterious "castle of death" afflicting the Japanese people.

In Fleming's version of the incident, Powers had been "brought down by delayed charges and not by rockets," an allegation of sabotage for which there was at the time the issue was of some importance because the U-2's precise operating altitude was a closely guarded secret, and 70,000 feet was thought to be above the SA-2's maximum ceiling.

On pages 162-163, Rich conjectures that the electronic countermeasures (ECM) radar jammer "black box" added to Powers' plane may have actually acted as a homing device to assist the Soviets since 3 Taiwanese Air Force U-2s had been shot down--but a fourth pilot survived because he forgot to turn the black box on.

Why Not Height--Without the U-2 Problems--and Stealthy, Too?
The obvious reaction to the U-2's lack of radar stealth was to somehow modify it to be radar invisible and Rich describes desperate measures attempted by his Skunk Works team. Radar absorbent paint and piano wires strung from the nose to poles on U-2 wings ("dirty bird") were attempted and seemed to have worked according to U-2 pilot James Cherbonneux in Rich's book, though maximum altitude was reduced by 5, 000 feet and range by 20%. Cherbonneux says he could only get up to 58, 000 feet in a radar-resistant "dirty bird" but the Russians could still track him because the cockpit and tailpipe were not treated. Kelly Johnson's conclusion was to start-over with a clean-sheet design and make the next spy plane radar stealthy from the beginning. His first stab at the problem began before the U-2 became untenable over Soviet territory. The NASA web site provides details of the CL-400 "Suntan" hydrogen powered, supersonic aerospace plane the Skunk Works attempted--but gave up on when the amount of liquid hydrogen required became excessive and the necessary inter-continental range couldn't be attained.

The Air Force, always seeking to extend flight capabilities, took a strong interest in very-high-altitude flight in 1953, became interested in hydrogen for this purpose in 1954 as the result of an imaginative proposal of Randolph Rae, helped the Central Intelligence Agency develop the U-2 airplane using conventional fuel, and mounted a massive, crash project to exceed the U-2's performance by using hydrogen. The hydrogen airplane did not materialize, but the liquid hydrogen plants and test facilities constructed by the Air Force would find full utilization in the emerging space program.

The possibility that the U-2 might get shot down was recognized early, so attention was focused on airplanes capable of higher speeds and altitudes. One of the problems foreseen for the U-2 was its vulnerability from engine flameout at high altitude.[32] If flameout occurred, the airplane had to descend to a much lower altitude-about 9000 meters-to restart the engine; at that time it was a sitting duck for anti-aircraft fire.**In addition to the flameout problem of the U-2, Kelly Johnson was faced with a problem of fuel loss from boil-off at very high attitudes. He had help on both problems from the Air Force and Pratt & Whitney, makers of the J-57-P37 engine. At the time, Col. Norman C. Appold, a combat pilot during World War II and holder of master's degrees in chemical and aeronautical engineering, was chief of the power plant laboratory at Wright Field. Earlier he had managed the Air Force contract with Pratt & Whitney for the J-57 and was very familiar with it. For this reason, and because he could draw on other propulsion and fuel experts in his laboratory, Appold was designated a "consultant" to Kelly Johnson. The father of the J-57 engine and chief engineer of Pratt & Whitney was Perry W. Pratt (no relation to the Pratt of P&W), and he too became closely involved with helping Johnson.

The J-57 turbojet engine normally operated on JP-4, a kerosene-like fuel. Johnson needed a fuel of lower volatility than JP-4 to minimize fuel loss during climb to the cruising altitude and during cruise. When the airplane took off, its fuel was at ground temperature. At high altitude, the combination of still-warm fuel and reduced pressure caused the more volatile portions of the fuel to boil away through the tank vents. Second, he needed a fuel with as high a combustion efficiency and flameout limit as he could get. Research showed that low volatility fuels had lower combustion efficiency than those of higher volatility, but this could be offset somewhat by improvements in the fuel injection system. Other research showed that fuels of low volatility had high flame-out limits. In the end, Johnson, Appold, and Pratt selected a lower volatility fuel developed with the assistance of the Shell Oil Company research laboratories.[33]

During the course of studying the fuel-engine relationships for the U-2 and J-57, Appold and the fuel experts at the power plant laboratory considered a variety of fuels, [128] including some of high volatility such as methane and liquid hydrogen. Methane was available in quantity, but liquid hydrogen was quickly dismissed because it was not.34 This was the same period in which Rae was promoting the use of hydrogen in his Rex engine. Appold was well aware of Rae's Rex proposals and was involved in the actions regarding them. Sometime during the discussions between Appold, Johnson, and Pratt, the seed of the idea to use hydrogen was planted and grew.*** It matured into action in 1956 as we will see later.

NASA put out a press release stating in part that "the pilot reported over the emergency frequency that he was experiencing oxygen difficulties." Propulsion engineers familiar with the altitude performance of jet engines assumed Powers had a flameout and descended to a lower altitude to relight. Powers, however, insists that he was shot down at an operational altitude. *** Neither Appold, Johnson, nor Pratt could recall definitely when or where the idea originated (interviews with Appold 4 Jan., with Johnson 14 Feb. and 2 May, and with Pratt 14 May 1974). The origin of the idea is less important than the interactions that occurred. Less than four months after the first U-2 flight (Aug. 1954), the NACA Lewis laboratory found that gaseous hydrogen in a turbojet combustor did not flameout as easily as jet fuel and could burn at pressures equivalent to 1600 m altitude (p. 98). No connection between the U-2 problem and the Lewis experiments has been established, but the timing is interesting.

However in an ironic quirk of fate, the costly-to-maintain SR-71 "hare" ends up being retired--and the U-2 "tortoise" is still flying recon missions today and for the near future. Maybe "slow & steady does win the race"?
Extremely cramped and difficult to fly, the manned U-2 still has a survival instinct to get back to base in event of mechanical problems that Unmanned Air vehicles (UAVs) don't have.

FARNBOROUGH, England, July 19th, 2006 -- Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] today unveiled the existence of a new high altitude, unmanned aerial demonstrator to reporters attending the Farnborough International Air Show. The announcement was part of a review of several Skunk Works projects highlighting technologies the company is exploring to enable technology for the future.
"This UAV is an effort to better understand the flight dynamics of a tailless unmanned air system in support of our ongoing research and development work for the U.S. Air Force's future Long Range Strike Program as well as to field the next generation of structural composite concepts," explained Frank Cappuccio, executive vice president and general manager of Advanced Development Programs and Strategic Planning.
Developed in only 18 months, using internal funding, unmanned system P-175, nicknamed "Polecat" - aligned with the well-known Skunk Works name - represents the key tenets for which the Skunk Works is known. "It was specifically designed to verify three things: new, cost effective rapid prototyping and manufacturing techniques of composite materials; projected aerodynamic performance required for sustained high altitude operations; and flight autonomy attributes," said Cappuccio. "In addition, the company investment and the resulting successful flights are proof positive of our commitment to developing the next inflection point in unmanned systems."
Cappuccio said the company is also exploring technologies to enable low boom, supersonic flight over land and global reach.
"It's easy to identify a need," said Cappuccio. "The hard part is evolving the technology to make filling that need possible. The Skunk Works is all about advancing the art of the possible. It may sound nebulous to some, but we thrive on ideas and innovation."

In the 1962 novel, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Fleming dubs James Bond's mission to get Blofeld "Operation CORONA"--clearly referencing the extremely top-secret U.S. satellite CORONA program then underway that dropped film capsules by parachute that were snagged in-flight by USAF cargo planes:
Fleming was clearly an MI6/SIS operative working under journalist/writer cover prone to inside jokes like "CORONA" to rattle-the-cages of the intelligence community and give the public breadcrumbs to follow to learn of amazing secrets.
Satellites while relatively safe from shoot-downs in space where no nation owns, do not have the ability to move from their orbits to spy on targets as rapidly as an aircraft or aerospace craft.

Flight Navigator Lieutenant Chris Burnett (
Owen Wilson), and Pilot Lieutenant Jeremy Stackhouse (Gabriel Macht) are assigned a reconnaissance mission over Bosnia. During the reconnaissance mission, they spot suspicious activity in the no-fly zone that NATO aircraft are prohibited from entering. The same area is also a demilitarized zone that armed factions are not allowed to engage in military activity. Burnett persuades Stackhouse to fly their F/A-18F Super Hornet off-course to get a close look on the target and take photos of it. However, both men do not realize that they photographed mass graves, and Serbs in the area spot the jet. The local Bosnian Serb Army commander, General Miroslav Lokar (Olek Krupa), is conducting a secret genocidal campaign against the local Muslim population within the demilitarized zone. Back to Nation-State War: Did We Replace the SR-71, Yes or No?
Let's say we didn't. The USAF pilot egos were weak and threatened by those who flew the SR-71s and the bureaucrats wanted to pinch pennies. Everyone declares what we got is good enough (surprise when we get to Iraq/Afghanistan!).
What do we do now?

Well, in 1995, a F-117 was shot down over Bosnia. Pop goes the stealth bubble!
We had built 64 x F-117s--so we absurdly RETIRED THE surviving aircraft into mothballs in 2006! All hopes were then on the semi-stealthy F-22 which was reduced to just 187 planes, and now the even less stealthy and less flight performance-gifted F-35. Sure looks like we need a stealthy spy plane that can overfly an enemy nation-state--notwithstanding whether we have anti-gravity craft AKA UFOs hidden up our sleeves.

Since the F-117 has two bomb bays each able to hold a 2, 000 pound bomb that is 18" by 129"--not including the Pave Way seeker head, so it's a reasonable guess that each bomb bay itself could hold 2 x SOF Commandos in a sitting position like used in the OV-10 Bronco jumps for a total of 4 Paratroopers.
Ben Rich's Skunk Works: Do We Have Anti-Gravity Craft (AGC); Yes or NO?
First, we know Rich has been known to LIE. He is not above conning the reader for the benefit of the military-industrial-congressional-intelligence agency (MILINDINTELCOMP) complex.
In his book, Skunk Works he cons us on pages 301-302 that the Reagen hypersonic transport was an impossibility due to thermodynamic problems and a cash cow for greedy defense contractors:
I admit that being extremely careful about how we spent our time and limited resources was easier when profits were high and our workforce fully engaged. But I also turned back bucks when business was lousy too. For example, during one very slack period in the mid-1980s, the Reagan administration was ready to sign up the Skunk Works on a three-year feasibility study for developing a hypersonic airplane, which, by definition, meant an aircraft capable of flying faster than five times the speed of sound. The Reagan science advisers were proposing an airplane that flew at Mach 12 and offered me a million dollars per Mach number to show them how it could be done. The trouble was that I couldn't design such a vehicle if they offered me twelve billion. That project was nothing but a simple-minded boondoggle from start to finish.
President Reagan had proposed a national hypersonic plane project during a televised address. The way he described it, Flash Gordon might have been his speechwriter. The vehicle, a commercial passenger plane, would take off from a regular airport runway, climb above the stratosphere into space, then, as an intercontinental rocket vehicle, blast into orbit, before gradually descending like a regular airliner to a distant airport. Reagan called the hypersonic plane 'The Orient Express' because it would fly from New York to Tokyo in only two hours. Reagan wanted to build it in four to eight years. He'd be lucky to do it in fifty.
I was outraged by that speech - not at the president, but at his technical team, which apparently had sold him a hypersonic version of the Brooklyn Bridge. I phoned Reagan's chief science adviser at the White House, Jay Keyworth, and told him the idea was utterly absurd. I reminded Keyworth of the enormous problems we had encountered building the Blackbird, which flew 'only' at Mach 3.2. I said to him, Do you know what would've happened if we tried to fly much faster than that? The airplane's surface would have come apart from heat friction. And that was titanium. Do you have something stronger? And by the way, our crew wore space suits and we still worried about boiling them alive if our air-conditioning system failed. And you are proposing to fly at Mach 12, where the surface heat on the fuselage would be 2,500 degrees and still have a passenger cabin filled with women, children, and businessmen, sitting around in their shirtsleeves! Not in my lifetime. Nor in yours.' I told Keyworth, 'Whoever dreamed up that presidential address ought to be canned. I'm not at all certain we would have that kind of technology ready by the middle of the damned twenty-first century, and if you don't realize that, you are in the wrong business.'
But the lure of building a hypersonic airplane dies hard and has become fool's gold to aerospace dreamers. The idea is still kicking around in Congress, its proponents in search of funding like a stray dog sniffing around for a bone. Building the airplane, to be called the X-30, will be a joint project of NASA and the Defense Department. But long before the first serious dollar is plonked down, someone in charge had better realize that Reagan's 'Orient Express' is really two separate concepts - one a rocketship and the other an airplane. Most likely, that particular twain shall never meet successfully."
Rich says on pages 309-310 that there is no such thing as the "Aurora" hypersonic plane and that it was really the code name for the B-2 stealth bomber:
"That story persists to this day even though Aurora was the code name for the B-2 competition funding. Although I expect few in the media to believe me, there is no code name for the hypersonic plane, because it simply does not exist."
Yet a few pages later on page 320, he contradicts his own condemnation and says in a positive-it's-feasible light that his own company was pursuing the same things!
"At our own Skunk Works nowadays we are investigating development of vertical landing airplanes and the feasibility of hypersonic airplanes to carry space stations into orbit because rockets are so horribly expensive"
And Lockheed artwork clearly shows an "Aurora" underneath the SR-71:
"Angels belong in heaven, not in the tough competitive world of aerospace, but I kept my word to Kelly and never did build an airplane that I didn't believe in. Like him, I turned down projects I felt were wrongly conceived. I never lied to a customer or tried to dodge the heat when we screwed up. I knew how other companies operated, and I was convinced that our reputation for integrity would gain more business than we would ever lose by turning away questionable ventures. And I was right.
In this same ending chapter, Rich describes SDI as another empty boondoggle.
Keep this in mind when you consider his "deathbed confessional" statements.

All quotations of Mr. Rich that appear here appear in Mr. Schratt's article, and have also been cited in numerous articles by other researchers.)
Biographical Overview
Ben Rich, the well-known chief of Lockheed's "Skunk Works," the secret development facility responsible for, among other things, the development of stealth technology and America's F-117 stealth fighter, was born in Manila, the Philippines on June 18, 1925. Fascinated with aircraft and aircraft models from his youth, his family moved to the United States in May, 1941, in response to the gathering war clouds with the Japanese Empire that would burst with such sudden ferocity with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor later that year on December 7.
Obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from UCLA in 1950, Rich went to work for Lockheed's Burbank facility as a specialist in thermodynamics, aerodynamics, propulsion, and design. By 1955, he had so distinguished himself he was moved to Lockheed's Advanced Development Projects, the "skunk works," then under the capable and brilliant direction of Clarence "Kelly" Johnson, the man he would eventually replace. There, Rich worked on the development of Top Secret advanced aircraft, the high altitude U-2 and even more exotic SR-71 Blackbird among them. When Johnson retired in 1975, Ben Rich succeeded him as the director of Lockheed's "skunk works," a position he held until his retirement on Dec. 31, 1990. Ben Rich died on Jan. 5, 1995, but between the time of his retirement and his death, he made a number of astonishing public and private statements, the subject of our study here.
A Catalog of Ben Rich's Astonishing Statements
For simplicity's sake, we will catalog Rich's statements, italicizing the statement itself, and then providing the context in which each was made.
1. "The Air Force has just given us a contract to take ET back home." This statement was made by Rich during a slide presentation he was giving on September 22, 1992, at the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. It is worth mentioning - though most readers will probably already be aware of it, that Dayton, Ohio is home to Wright-Patterson Air Force base, reputedly the place where recovered and alleged extra-terrestrial craft, including the Roswell craft, and the Kecksburg craft, were initially taken for examination. Wright-Patterson based the Air Technical Intelligence Command, Project Bluebook, and a large contingent of Paperclip Nazis after World War Two.
2. "We now have the technology to take ET back home." This nearly verbatim statement was made by Rich about half a year later, on March 23,1993, at a lecture using virtually the same presentation as he made to the U.S. Air Force Museum the previous year. The presentation was made to the UCLA School of Engineering Alumni Association.
3. "We did the F-104, C-130, U-2, SR-71, F-117 and many other programs that I can't talk about. We are still working very hard, I just can't tell you what we are doing." This statement was likewise made during Rich's 1992 presentation to the U.S. Air Force Museum.
4. "We already have the means to travel among the stars. But these technologies are so locked up in black programs, that it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity." This statement was made during Rich's presentation in 1993 to the UCLA School of Engineering Alumni Association.
5. "If you can imagine it, Lockheed Skunk Works has done it." This statement was made by Rich to a small informal gathering at UCLA after his formal presentation.
6. "We have some new things. We are not stagnating. What we are doing is updating ourselves without advertising. There are some new programs, and there are certain things, some of them twenty or thirty years old that are still breakthroughs and appropriate to keep quiet about. Other people don't have them yet." This statement was made by Ben Rich to Popular Science magazine reporter Stuart F. Brown in the October 1994 issue.
7. "I wish I could tell you about the projects we are currently working on. They are both fascinating and fantastic. They call for technologies once only dreamed of by Science fiction writers." Rich made this statement in presentation to the AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) on September 7, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia.
8. "We now know how to travel to the stars." This statement, again, was made during his 1993 UCLA presentation.
And last, but not least, there was one final comment, and for our purposes as we shall see, it is the most significant one:
9. "There is an error in the equations, and we have figured it out, and now know how to travel to the stars, and it won't take a lifetime to do it." This statement immediately followed number 8 above, and was made at the 1993 UCLA presentation.
In addition to these comments by Ben Rich, it is also worth noting that others in the black projects industry made similar statements. Michael Schratt states in his article that an unnamed Lockheed retired engineer was quoted in the February 1988 issue of Gung-Ho magazine, in an article titled "Stealth and Beyond," as saying "Let's just put it this way... we have things flying in the Nevada desert that would make George Lucas drool."
Schratt goes on to state:
The same Gung-Ho article continues with an earth-shaking comment made by an Air Force officer who was involved in the development of the SR-71 (Blackbird): "We are testing vehicles that defy description. To compare them conceptually to the SR-71 would be like comparing Leonardo da Vinci's parachute design to the space shuttle." One retired Colonel chimed in with the following statement which also appeared in the same article: "We have things that are so far beyond the comprehension of the average aviation authority as to be really alien to our way of thinking."
All of these quotations lead Schratt to ask a very logical question: are they "veiled confirmation of the so-called 'secret space program'"?
Interpretive Possibilities
Before we proceed to answer that most important question - indeed, the central question posed by Rich's remarks - we must examine the interpretive possibilities suggested by this catalog of remarks. Looking carefully at Rich's statements, there are three broad classes into which they fall:
1. Statements implying the general nature of a fantastic though hidden and secret technology, with no indications of the capabilities or nature of that technology (statements 3,5-7);
2. Statements implying the general nature of a fantastic though hidden and secret technology, with the clear statement that this technology is capable of an interstellar capability (statements 1-2, 4, 8); and,
3. A single statement implying that the Lockheed scientists found an error "in the equations" that underwrites the fantastic technologies alluded to in all the other statements. Note that Rich is specific, and speaks of an error in the singular, though he does not:
1. Specify the nature of that error, if it lies in the general philosophical and physical assumptions or if it is of a more specific and formal mathematical nature;
2. Specify which kind of equations he is referring to: the field equations of electromagnetism, the tensor equations of relativity? We have no idea. Rich does provide a clue, however, in that he refers to a single error in equations, implying a set of equations describing a particular phenomenon. This argues that the "singular error" may been of a generalized philosophical nature that crept into the formalization of an entire set of equations.
We are now in a position to examine the interpretive possibilities that Rich's statements give rise to.
We may begin our examination by a bit of a thought experiment. Imagine we are foreign agents infiltrated into each of Rich's presentations to monitor them, analyze and assess them, and report back to our home country. The first and most obvious possibility that we must entertain is that Rich may be lying, that he is stating things as a part of a psychological operation to make America' potential enemies think that the USA has technologies far in advance of anything in any terrestrial arsenal. But as with every disinformation operation, there must be a kernel of truth operating in order for the false perception to take hold and influence decision-making.
In this case, that kernel of truth is provided by Rich's and Lockheed's track record of accomplishing feats of aerodynamic engineering well in advance of the public technologies of any given period. Consider only the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, or the F-117 stealth fighter. The mere fact, in other words, that someone of Rich's stature would make such statements means that they have to be taken seriously, and all possible interpretive paradigms and possibilities evaluated carefully. One must not, therefore, leap to the conclusion that he was telling the complete unvarnished truth, nor may one entirely dismiss them as being a complete pack of lies and total falsehoods.
The Error in the Equations: A Hidden Physics and Secrets
It is in this context that our would-be agent and analyst will turn his attention to the one piece of internal evidence that Rich gave as support for all the other fantastic statements that he made, namely, that "There is an error (singular) in the equations (plural), and we have figured it out, and now know how to travel to the stars, and it won't take a lifetime to do it." The context of Rich' statement indicates that, whatever this error was, and if genuine, it prevented mankind from traveling to the stars, and that fixing it theoretically enabled that possibility. We may therefore rule out the possibility that the equations in question are those dealing with standard aerodynamic of lift, drag, and so on. Some other types of equations altogether are implied.
Thus the question becomes: are there areas in which there are indications of an error in the equations that would theoretically enable inter-stellar travel? In other words, can one argue a prima facie case that Rich was telling the truth here? And if he was telling the truth here, then are there indications that an actual technology is being developed from that basis?
As noted, Rich made his statement in the specific context of knowing "how to travel to the stars" and this means that the "error in the equations" cannot be in the form of an error in any of the conventional equations of aerodynamics, fluid flow and so on.
In short, Rich's statements imply that one has to reverse-engineer an entire hidden history of physics and electrodynamics, for they clearly imply that there is such a history.
This raises the whole point of secrecy and just how long advanced secrets may be closely held and hidden from public view. Within UFOlogy the argument is often made that secret human technology could not be that advanced from that in the public view, nor would it have remained classified for so long. But the clear implication of Rich's statements is quite the opposite, for he not only clearly implies the existence of such technology but that it is so deeply secret that it has remained so for decades; he is also implying a hidden physics. The question is, when was "the error in the equations" known and why were the scientists looking for it?
Maxwell's Equations
As I have pointed out in many of my published books, the original form of James Clerk Maxwell's equations unifying electricity and magnetism were originally written in a geometric language known as quaternions. But additionally, when one turns to the literature of those physicists who are increasingly dissatisfied with the standard models, one finds other criticisms, even of their standard formulation in the partial derivative form learned by most students of physics, and as they were revised by Oliver Heaviside.
One of the most trenchant observations of such problems was noted by the physicist Thomas E. Phipps, Jr., in an excellent book entitled Old Physics for New, a highly mathematical work. There he notes two crucial things, namely, that Maxwell's own formulation of his theory does not adequately take into consideration sink motions, but only source motions, but more importantly, notes that induction is mathematically misrepresented by one form of equation (partial derivative form) when another form alone adequately accounts for the changing shape of circuit parameters that is being penetrated by a magnetic flux.[1] While all this may seem abstruse and incomprehensible, it basically boils down to the fact that in the quest for mathematical formalisms that are "beautiful," physicists essentially abandoned observation for the pursuit of theoretical beauty.
In the context of Rich's statements then, and their implication that there was an error in the equations, it is likely that the Lockheed engineers discovered this very simple mathematical change, one that, in effect, did away with the all important observer of the effect, in this case, the effect being the electromagnetic field itself.[2] In this case, the circuit parameters, only fully describable by the change in notation from partial to full derivative form, function as the physical observer of the field effect; change the parameters of the circuit, and one changes what is observed. And that, of course, means that circuit parameters directly affect the local engineering or observation of space-time, exactly was stated in this case, that kernel of truth is provided by Rich's and Lockheed's [3] Physics; in other words, went very early astray by means of this change.
So from the standpoint of Rich's statements, two conceptual and philosophical errors were introduced because of this change of mathematical languages: (1) the change from quaternion geometry to linear algebra lost the idea of a non-translational stress in the physical medium, a stress that might conceivably be manipulated for an "antigravity" effect, and (2) the change from partial to full derivative form lost the observer - the circuit parameters - and the direct effect these had on the field to be observed.
In other words, even on this short and necessarily cursory examination, one need go no further than the parameterizations of Maxwell's theory of electromagnetism to discover two major changes in the mathematical formalisms of the theory that strongly support Rich's contention that "there was an error in the equations," an error making possible a technology to take us to the stars.
Those changes in the formalisms of the theory would, of course, lead to further theoretical developments, including, of course, Einstein's Special and General Relativity theories, and the subsequent attempts in the 1920s to formulate unified field theories between electromagnetism and gravity. But if the first foundations of electromagnetic theory were themselves vitiated by two seemingly minor changes in the mathematical formalism, then this would mean that many of the assumptions and parameters of the theoretical edifice built upon them also would have to be revisited and rethought from the ground up. In future papers we will explore this topic of a hidden, off-the-books physics, and the history of the public consumption physics, further, but for the moment, it need only be noted that, given this analysis, it must be concluded that Rich was not simply stating something untrue, nor stating a piece of disinformation to mislead the public, other scientists, or engineers. His statements must be given great weight because the actual history itself says that such errors were made. The history is known and commented on by physicists willing to break with accepted dogmas and examine the history of the theoretical edifice (often at great cost to their own careers).
This fact, plus the fact of the other statements Rich made, leads me to conclude that Lockheed's engineers not only discovered these and similar errors, but that they went on to work out a new, hidden, off-the-books theoretical structure of physics, and to begin the engineering of actual technologies based upon it. We are, in other words, looking at the possibility of an actual, practical, field propulsion technology, utilizing electromagnetism in a practical way to achieve antigravity effects, which we will examine in the next installment of this series of papers.

LONDON (Reuters) - The U.S. military may have conducted serious research into anti-gravity based on Nazi studies, a top defense journalist suggests in a new book.
In The Hunt for Zero Point, journalist Nick Cook says, based on a decade's research, he believes by the 1950s the U.S. was seriously working on anti-gravity "electrogravitics" technology, which would lift and propel vehicles without wings or thrust.
"I feel intuitively that some vehicle has been developed, particularly given that there is this wealth of scientific data out there, and the Americans have never been slow to pick up on this sort of science," Cook, the aerospace consultant for Jane's Defense Weekly, told Reuters in an interview.
Cook uncovered reports and sightings of a Nazi research device that had been hidden in a remote part of Poland, where it had apparently been supplied with great quantities of electricity -- which an electrogravitic experiment would require.
Curiously, barely a hint of such Nazi research appeared after the war, suggesting that whoever captured it -- probably the United States -- immediately stamped it "secret," he said.
Cook noted that, as a respected expert, he is risking his reputation by writing seriously about a technology associated with UFOs, which most scientists dismiss as science fiction embraced by "hocus-pocus" believers.
The United States is known to have a huge budget for so called "black projects,'' because it spends more on defense than can be accounted for by adding up the value of public programs.
Cook admitted he cannot produce a conclusive case. But that is the nature of black projects, in which even the workers usually have no idea what they are working on.
In 1947, amid the early craze of UFO reports, an air force general reported on the possibility of the United States building disc-shaped objects with extreme rates of climb and maneuverability--but without noise or evident propulsion.
In the mid 1950s, electrogravitics was the subject of a few press reports, including one that described work by most of the United States' major defense contractors, Cook reported.
And then it all went quiet -- just as stealth technology suddenly disappeared from view in the mid 1970s, only to re-emerge as operational aircraft in the late 1980s.
Academic papers on the subject have mysteriously disappeared from libraries.
There is still no firm evidence that electrogravitics is more than science fiction. Civilian scientists and amateurs have experimented with it, and while some have reported success, no one seems to have reproduced their results to prove that it works.

Deputy Sheriff Amelia Lopez led me into the distant scrub of the Sierra Nevada mountains, scratched the soil and said: 'They sieved the dirt for a thousand yards from the impact point. A few weeks after they left, it was like nothing ever happened.'
Whatever happened or not took place back in July 1986. Lopez, after partying until dawn on a camping trip with friends, was settling into her sleeping bag when the crash occurred just a dozen miles from Bakersfield, California. A supersonic jet roared overhead with a sonic boom like a clap of thunder. Then the horizon was flashlit by an enormous explosion, flames shooting skywards as the jet ploughed into a desert canyon nearby.
Lopez and her friends, like others in the area, were determined to fin out what had happened. They had not gone more than half-a-dozen miles towards the point of impact before her face was forced into the dirt, a boot was in her back and a gun was at her head. These were not ordinary soldiers, but SWAT-types brandishing Colt Commandos, wearing night-vision goggles and issuing threats about government property and national security.
It was not until 1988 that the out going Reagan administration admitted the plane, strictly classified even though it had been in service for three years, was an F-117A Stealth fighter. The troops at the crash site were part of a Pentagon 'red team' helicoptered in to secure the area and to keep the secret of the Stealth's highly classified technology.
It was a measure of the lengths the U.S. military goes to guard its secrets. But I was to discover there is an even greater secret, which is no less than the aerospace equivalent of the Holy Grail antigravity. In other words, the action of levitation where gravity's force is more than overcome by electrostatic or other propulsion.
For some time I had regarded an antigravity system as the ultimate quantum leap in aircraft design. Something dreamed about, but beyond reach and likely to remain so.
It was the stuff of science fiction. Or so I thought until my investigations, undertaken over the last ten years, led me to change my mind. I am now convinced it is one of the last century's most breath taking and most closely guarded discoveries.
Antigravity is a discovery born of the Nazis' desire to conquer the world. And it could also explain the thousands of sightings of UFOs that have, occurred since the Second World War. In the light of antigravity, the notion of X-Files type flying saucers does not seem so strange.
The draconian measures applied at the Californian crash site were among the final pieces in a jigsaw I had been putting together ever since photocopied pages of an old Popular Science journal had been placed anonymously on my desk at Jane's Defence Weekly, the British magazine which documents the day-to-day dealings of the multi-billion-dollar global defence industry.
I have worked there for 14 years as aviation editor and aerospace consultant, covering everything from Chinese combat engines to radar systems. But this was way off my usual beat.
The cutting, about revolutionary U.S. military research, was dated 1956. The headline ran: 'The G-Engines Are Coming!' contained a drawing of a U.S. airman stepping out of an aircraft that had no wings and no visible means of propulsion. The article pro-claimed: "By far the most potent source of energy is gravity. Using it as power, future aircraft will attain the speed of light. Scientists, designers and engineers are perfecting a way to control gravity a force infinitely more powerful than the mighty atom. The result of their labours will be antigravity engines working without fuel weightless airliners and space ships able to travel to 170,000 miles per second."
On any other day, this article would have been consigned to the bin as sheer fantasy. But something in the next paragraph caught my eye.
This gravity research, it said, had been supported by Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Company, Bell Aircraft, Lear and "several other American aircraft manufacturers who would not spend millions of dollars on science fiction".
It quoted Lawrence D. Bell, founder of the plane company that was the first to break the sound barrier: 'We're already working on nuclear fuels and equipment to cancel out gravity.' George S. Trimble, head of Advanced Programs at Martin Aircraft, added: "The conquest of gravity could be done in about the time it took to build the first atomic bomb."
They were openly predicting a golden age of antigravity in the Sixties. They set out the notion of a fuelless propulsion source, one that could deliver phenomenal performance gains over a jet perhaps including the ability to accelerate rapidly, to pull hairpin turns without crushing the pilot and to achieve speeds that defied imagination. In short, something that resembled a UFO.
I began to research the subject of antigravity and discovered that the seeds of the technology were sown by German scientists in the dying days of the Second World War and appropriated by the conquering Americans under the noses of their allies.
The key man was a German engineer and administrator, Hans Kammler, who began as a civil servant with the Reich Air Ministry but whose ambition led him to the SS, where he became head of the Building and Works divisions that masterminded the concentration camps.
Albert Speer, Hitler's Minister for Armaments, noted that Kammler was "blond, blue-eyed, long-headed, always neatly dressed and well bred ... capable of unexpected decisions at any minute."
It was the SS, not the Luftwaffe, that controlled Hitler's secret weapons programme and Kammler, a qualified engineer, soon became deeply involved.
He was clever and cruel 20,000 slave workers died creating the vast galleried complex hacked out under the Hartz Mountains in Germany, where Kammler oversaw production of V1 rockets. One day in March 1945, the guards hanged 52 people in Gallery 41, tying a dozen at a time to a beam, which was then pulled up by a crane. Those next in line were forced to watch. These were Kammler's hallmarks.
Kammler rose to the rank of SS General, in charge not only of all aircraft and missile programmes but also his own high-powered research and development think-tank. He set up his secret operation in the vast Skoda industrial complex in Czechoslovakia, a country which the SS regarded as its own private domain.
According to my researches, scientists there were working on weapons systems so futuristic that they made Germany's V1 and V2 rocket bombs look pedestrian. Among these were nuclear power plants for rockets and aircraft, highly sophisticated guided weapons and antiaircraft lasers.
But there was more. A Polish source told me the extraordinary story of "The Bell". Experiments had been taking place in a mine close to the Czech border. They involved feeding large doses of electricity into an underground chamber where a bell-shaped device emitted a pale blue light. Five scientists exposed to the device had died of side-effects. Word had it that they were investigating some kind of anti-gravitational effect. The Bell, which was about the height of a man and glowed during testing, was made of hard, heavy metal, filled with a violet mercury-like substance. This metallic liquid was stored in a flask, encased in lead three centimeters thick.
Experiments always took place under a thick ceramic cover and involved the rapid spinning of two cylinders in opposite directions. The chamber in which the experiments took place was deep below ground. Only The Bell itself was preserved after a series of tests, each lasting about one minute. Even the room was destroyed and rebuilt.
Various plants, and animals such as frogs, mice and rats, were exposed to The Bell's sphere of influence. Rapid decay set in and people who helped conduct the experiments suffered from sleep problems, memory loss and muscle spasms. One of the terms used was "vortex compression". Another was "magnetic fields separation". Both were associated with antigravity.
These secrets were undoubtedly Kammler's ticket to safety once war had ended. By mid-April of 1945 Kammler had dropped off the map. He was a leading Nazi, implicated in the Final Solution--yet protracted searches in the U.S. National Archives yielded not a single mention.
How could this monster, the most powerful individual outside Hitler's inner circle, be so easily forgotten?
It was only as I gazed at the single wartime picture that exists of Kammler in his general's uniform, striding for the camera, his cap with death's head badge enough to one side to betray more than a hint of vanity - that I began to understand. Kammler was fair. Take away the uniform, and he could have been any 40-year-old European male. In the chaos of the collapsing Reich, Kammler could have gone anywhere, assumed any persona, and no one would have noticed.
Kammler, who had moved his HQ to Munich, told Albert Speer he would offer the Americans "jet planes and rockets". He also let slip he had "other developments" up his sleeve.
He probably went east, back to his "special projects group" in Czechoslovakia, rather than simply wait for the Americans to arrive in Munich. He had a two-fold purpose in making his dangerous journey. First, to retrieve the mother lode of documentation and blueprints. And second, to hide it prior to setting up the deal, which would buy his freedom.
Although the Skoda Works were in, the Soviet zone of occupation, my research shows that U.S. forces had the run of the place for six days before the Red Army turned up.
Plenty of time to remove something you want if you know it is there. Or ignore it, if you have it already. The Americans appeared indifferent to any pointers towards Kammler. Had he already done a deal with the Americans? The answer must be yes.
The Bell was removed by a special SS evacuation team just before the Russians arrived. More than 60 Scientists working on the experiment were then ruthlessly killed to preserve the secrets of the mine. The Bell was shipped out but to where?
One possibility was using one of the northern Adriatic ports that remained in German hands. An U-boat commander could conceivably have run the gauntlet of the Allies to evacuate cargo and personnel by sea. Another possibility was a heavy transport plane used by a special German air force wing and flown under an enemy or neutral flag. Either way, Kammler had the means to move thousands of tons of documentation, equipment and personnel pretty much where he wanted.
At the end of the Second World War, via captured technology from Germany that has never seen the light of day, America acquired knowledge of the most dangerous kind.
Whatever the secrets, of The Bell and other technology, the German secret weapons programme had yielded the ability to design a radically different form of aircraft. A craft that was "circular or elliptical", made no sound and could turn on a sixpence. And one involving a process, which could also be harnessed to create a weapon more destructive than the hydrogen bomb.
With the help of German-derived science, America's technological lead over the rest of the world accelerated after the war. Kammler's secrets from the Skoda Works had moved 4,000 miles to the west and somehow, I just knew, Kammler had come with it.
The extensive U.S. recruitment programme would have bent over backwards to accommodate Kammler, keeper of the Third Reich's most exotic military secrets.
There is evidence that the Americans did produce such technology. A memo I found in the archives of the Imperial War Museum, written by Lieutenant General Nathan Twining, head of U.S. Army Air Forces' Air Material Command, a brigadier in USAAF intelligence in September 1947, stated that objects "approximating the shape of a disc, of such appreciable size as to be as large as a manmade aircraft", were neither "visionary nor fictitious".
Twining went on to write that it was possible "within the present U.S. knowledge provided extensive detailed development is undertaken to construct a piloted aircraft which has the general description of the object above which would be capable of an approximate range of 7,000 miles..."
His memo was written just three months after the supposed crash of a UFO at Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947; the period many people tout as the real start of the modern UFO sightings.
Not all attempts to produce disc technology were successful. It emerged, during the 1959 hearings of the Space Committee of the U.S. Congress, that the U.S. Department of Defense had been working with the Avro Canada company to develop a "flying saucer".
The Avrocar, as it was called, was the brainchild of gifted British engineer John Frost, who had moved to Canada after the war. News leaked as early as 1953, when a Canadian newspaper revealed plans for it to take off and land vertically, and fly at 1,500 mph.
It was easy to see why Avro played down reports of the Avrocar. One look at the prototype, under-powered and unstable, was enough to confirm it would never achieve supersonic flight. It became an aviation joke, which drifted into obscurity. Yet, that may have been the intention.
Recently declassified papers show that Avro was working on a range of flying saucers capable of eclipsing existing jet-fighters. And the U.S. Air Force had bought Avro's disc-shaped designs for craft called Project Silverbug, capable of almost instant high-speed turns in any direction.
Were the Americans using the Canadians to perfect the aerodynamics of a flying saucer? Or had the disastrous Avro programme been hushed up to avoid embarrassment? Either way, it showed that man-made flying saucers existed.
There was no golden age, as "The G-Engines Are Coming!" had predicted. At least, not in the open. But I discovered evidence of mysterious aircraft which chimed with reduced gravity systems.
Since the Eighties, there has been speculation about the existence of a mythical plane called Aurora that supposedly flew on the edges of space. In 1992, there was a detailed sighting of a massive triangular-shaped aircraft spotted flying in formation with U.S. Air Force bombers above the North Sea.
In Belgium, in 1989 and again a year later, hundreds of people reported seeing silent triangular shaped craft all over the country. They were tracked by Belgian radar and pulled turns of about 20G40G enough to kill a human pilot. The Belgian air force confirmed their existence in a government report.
I also discovered evidence of the Pentagon's enormous "black budgets", which finance deeply classified defence programmes.
Huge amounts of money have been spent, often in areas of the U.S. where UFO reports are most common. What happened to Kammler's secrets, and was antigravity among them? My research would soon take me to the deserts of America, home of the strange Stealth fighters, the leading edge of aeronautical science and much more.

Open Letter To the UFO Community and Other Concerned Citizens

This Open Letter will address the Plan of that global cartel of the ultra-rich and powerful, the Cabal, to Demonize Visiting Star Persons by putting on a fake "Alien Invasion".

The Cabal's (Shadow Government/NWO/Illuminati) Plans To Demonize Visiting Star Persons by Staging a Fake "Alien Invasion"
At a press conference given in Washington, D.C. at the National Press Club May 9, 2001, Dr. Carol Rosin, (who had been the first woman corporate manager of an aerospace company, Fairchild Industries), told the assembled press about a warning given her by her boss, Dr. Wernher von Braun in 1974.
Von Braun revealed that dark powerful forces controlling world wealth and political power had over a third of a century ago planned to create a future fake "extraterrestrial invasion" to acquire total global control. (Meanwhile this global plutocratic cartel has maintained the UFO Cover-Up as a cover, while they prepare for their "Great Day".)
Dr. Rosen said, "What was most interesting to me was a repetitive sentence that he said to me over and over again during the approximately four years that I had the opportunity to work with him. He said the strategy that was being used to educate the public and decision makers was to use scare tactics. That was how we identify an enemy. The strategy that Wernher Von Braun taught me was that first the Russians are going to be considered to be the enemy. In fact, in 1974, they were the enemy, the identified enemy. We were told that they had 'killer satellites'. We were told that they were coming to get us and control us - that they were "Commies".
"Then terrorists would be identified, and that was soon to follow. We heard a lot about terrorism. Then we were going to identify third-world country crazies. We now call them Nations of Concern. But he said that would be the third enemy against whom we would build space-based weapons. The next enemy was asteroids. Now, at this point he kind of chuckled the first time he said it. Asteroids- against asteroids we are going to build space-based weapons."
"And the funniest one of all was what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final scare. And over and over and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We are going to have to build space-based weapons against aliens, and all of it is a lie."
"I think I was too naive at that time to know the seriousness of the nature of the spin that was being put on the system. And now, the pieces are starting to fall into place. We are building a space-based weapons system on a premise that is a lie, a spin. Wernher Von Braun was trying to hint that to me back in the early '70s and right up until the moment when he died in 1977.
"What he told me was that there is an accelerated effort in place. He didn't mention a time-line, but he said that it was going to be speeding up faster than anybody could possibly imagine. That the effort to put weapons into space was not only based on a lie, but would accelerate past the point of people even understanding it until it was already up there and too late." The Cabal is that shadowy global plutocratic cartel bent on world domination. Its leadership is not stupid. They plan carefully. In the present context of increasingly abundant open flights of Star Visitor craft over populated areas, the Cabal have devised special measures that they believe will sell the public on the "reality" of the "alien invasion" the Cabal have planned.
One element is the Cabal's secret development of antigravity craft back-engineered from Star Visitor craft that Cabal military stooges had shot down. (More about those craft in the next section.) This high-performance advanced-technology fleet is expected to fool the viewing public into thinking that they are extraterrestrial UFOs. (For instance, the huge "UFO" seen January 8, 2008 over Stephenville, Texas and chased by F-16 fighters, as reported on CNN, Fox News, Larry King, and other media, was actually a Cabal antigravity craft, warming up the public for the false "alien invasion" which the Cabal plan to stage later.)
Furthermore, these Cabal craft have technology aboard their craft which can project 3-D, solid-seeming holographic images in the sky to create realistic sky-battle scenes. In order to further terrify people, the Cabal plan to use the advanced Star-Wars-program energy weapons these false "UFOs" carry on board in order to shoot at Humans on the ground, killing thousands, and convincing people that "aliens are bad, and are on the attack."
Remote-viewing reveals that the Cabal have, as an additional information-management tool, recruited three noted UFO investigators to act as spokespersons during their fabricated "Star Wars". This part of the plan was reported by a woman who is a potent psychic, was a Star Being in a previous lifetime before incarnating as a Human this lifetime, and is a respected close associate. Her name is Fran, and she lives in the U.S. Southeast. She remote-viewed a contemporary scene involving those three UFO investigators. Fran shares the following information obtained from that riveting remote-viewing session.
These three persons were observed consulting in an out-of-the-way building's windowless room about the Grand Story that the Cabal plan to launch in the not-too-distant future. That Grand Story would be that which Dr. Wernher Van Braun had warned Dr. Carol Rosin about in 1974. Fran identified that the two men and woman who would help front this Alien Invasion story were UFO investigators Steven Greer, MD, Michael Salla, Ph.D. and Linda Moulton Howe. The "Grand Story" which these three were secretly discussing would unfold thus.
First, Cabal-controlled scientists and/or government officials would proclaim alarming new evidence of an imminent Alien Invasion. Greer would react on cue to this new information and "admit" that he has "been wrong all along about the aliens being good," and now "realizes" they are evil. Salla, who has said all along that "there are aliens who are evil" would say essentially, "I told you so." Moulton-Howe, who specialized earlier in her UFO career generating reports attributing cattle mutilations to "aliens", would declare that she is "not surprised" that the aliens "would kill Humans next".
The Cabal would launch fake "alien attacks", featuring Cabal antigravity craft designed to look like classic UFOs, and armed with Star-Wars energy weapons. These would annihilate swaths of the population, mostly in areas of the Third World, thus achieving the Cabal desire to thin "undesirable" (to the Cabal elite) populations, but with token attacks in the developed countries as well, to maintain "global-attack" credibility. The Cabal-controlled world governments would declare global martial law, and the creation of a global authority to address the "menace". [EDTIOR: Hegelian problem creation in order to offer the solution intended all along]
The Cabal-controlled world leadership would then unveil antigravity fighter craft (held in secret for such an eventuality) and order counter-attacks, using their antigravity craft to engage in shooting the "Enemy Invaders" out of the sky. Since the real Star Nations ships would not be a party to this madness, the Cabal would simply have sent up drone antigravity craft to dart about and project convincing 3-D "solid" holographic images of sky warfare featuring these "Alien Invaders", which would dutifully begin to get shot down.
A grateful world would meanwhile accept the Cabal-controlled government leaders' demand for a unified global government, and to allow them to assume unlimited power in order to fight "the alien invaders".
The accuracy of Fran's remote-viewing of the above planning has been confirmed by Star Nations representatives.
To many in the UFO community, it may seem astounding that noted UFO investigators would front for a deception, and one which sells out Human self-determination, and stampedes people into the arms of the Cabal controllers. It is therefore useful to examine what indications do exist in the open record as to whether these UFO investigators would be well suited for fronting such a Star Wars plan.
Steven Greer, MD is Director of a "Committee for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence" (CSETI). Has he hob-nobbed with the ultra-rich and powerful? Yes. Does he have a history of being financed by Rockefeller interests? Yes. Does this point to Cabal influence? Yes.
The Rockefellers head the American wing of the Cabal, as the Rothschilds head the Cabal's European wing. (Holly Sklar, Trilateralism: The Trilateral Commission and Elite Planning for World Management , Cambridge, MA, 1980.
Greer has admitted his association with Lawrence Rockefeller. In his typical third-person style, he writes, "Subsequently, working with philanthropist Laurence Rockefeller, Dr. Greer provided in-depth briefing materials for President Clinton and Hillary Clinton, who reviewed the matter while staying at the Rockefeller's JY Ranch." (Steven Greer, Disclosure Project press release, Nov. 14, 2007.) Thus, Greer admits cooperative association with one of the Rockefeller brothers, (who head the Cabal in North America.)
Who financed the briefing material Dr. Greer provided to his friend Lawrence Rockefeller's guests, who included Hillary and Bill Clinton? "The Executive Summary was not the only report funded by Rockefeller. There were actually three different Best Available Evidence briefing documents produced for Rockefeller." "The financing of the Best Available Evidence report was also only one in a whole series of UFO research efforts that Rockefeller had financed in the early nineties. He had been a constant source of what researchers referred to as Rockeybucks, i.e., money spent by Rockefeller to get to the bottom of the UFO mystery. During this period, in the early nineties, many researchers made research proposals to Rockefeller, and were provided funds. Reporter Leslie Kean confirms that Greer furnished Rockefeller-financed briefing material to then-President Clinton and Hillary. "In August 1995, philanthropist Laurance Rockefeller provided Greer's briefing materials to President Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Presidential science advisor Jack Gibbons while they spent a weekend at Rockefeller's Wyoming ranch."(Leslie Kean, USA: UFOs and National Security, June, 2000.)
Aside from Rockefeller, were there other members of the UFO Cover-Up organization that Greer met and associated with?
Greer says: "I have personally met with a number of people who are very involved with such [Grand Story] plans. My meetings over the past 9 years with covert operatives who have worked on UFO-related programs have introduced me to some characters right out of a spy novel - and then some. Whether in private high-tech industry, at the Pentagon, or at a midnight meeting in a private mansion, a theme has emerged - the eventual covert militarization of the ET subject. Part of this disclosure plan involves the use of UFO look-alike devices made by humans in an attack on Earth or military assets of Earth."
"The covert projects which have been running UFO related programs for nearly 60 years are not interested in a disclosure which upsets their apple cart. But then there is the [UFO] disclosure the powers that be would like to see: Manipulated. Calculated to consolidate power and engender fear. Is there other evidence that Steven Greer, a self-described "humble country doctor", has extraordinary access to high-level officials to discuss highly-classified matters, the kind of access only the extremely-powerful can get you?
Greer's Project Starlight Coalition, "referred to in this AP [Associated Press] report, was The Disclosure Project in its early days; it was named by our point of contact [Washington, D.C. think-tank director John Anderson] who set up my briefing for CIA Director R. James Woolsey on December 13, 1993, and was operational around the time of Bill and Hillary Clinton's visit to Laurence Rockefeller's JY Ranch to review the data base and briefing materials we had helped assemble." Dr. Greer also acknowledges his access to covert information not available to highest government officials: "As early as 1993, when I personally briefed CIA Director James Woolsey on the UFO matter, we knew of on-going, secret projects to which President Clinton and Mr. Woolsey were denied access." So, it is plausible that Greer would be accessible to Cabal plans. But how would Michael Salla fit in?
Michael Emin Salla, Ph.D., is currently operating as a UFO investigator. His earlier research earned him note as an Islamic expert on radicalism, as evidenced by his book, Islamic Radicalism, Muslim Nations and the West. Indeed, he selected Al Jezeera to send a letter to, informing them about the possibility of alien intervention. (El Amraoui, Ahmed (June 4, 2006). "U.S.-Iran: The truth is way out there." Al Jazeera.) Also in 1996 he was selected from Australia to work as a professor at American University, which receives substantial Rockefeller Foundation funding. Over the last several years his focus had shifted from studies of Islamic nations to UFOs.
To be helpful as a reported member of the planning team intending to go public with views about the Star Visitors which suit the Cabal's planned false "alien invasion", Salla would need to be primed to promote "evidence" for "evil aliens". Is it the case that Michael Salla repeatedly presses the case that there are "evil aliens"? Let's see.
In Comment Paper #11 on his website, Salla claims that among the reasons Star Visitors have for coming here is "subverting humanity for the exclusive benefit of visiting extraterrestrial races." In Comment Paper #26, Salla alleges the need to raise "global consciousness against the threat posed by resource-hungry extraterrestrial visitors." In Comment Paper #44, Salla gives a more nuanced stance: that "there appears to be a minority of extraterrestrial visitors, who view humans as a biological resource to be exploited." Close enough for (Shadow Government) work. Salla could therefore at the opportune time merely explain to the public that those attacking [fake, Cabal] UFOs overhead are from the "evil minority of extraterrestrial visitors."
How about the third reported member of the reported conspiracy? Linda Moulton Howe is a journalist who has made a specialty of reporting UFO-related phenomena. She has promoted herself as an expert about cattle mutilations, asserting that they are done by "aliens", rather than the Cabal special operators who actually are doing virtually all of them (See Dr. Wolf's testimony at: www.drboylan.com/wlflk1a.html).
It would be useful to the reported Cabal team to have a "cattle mutilation expert", who could then sound convincing if she were to say that there is "no surprise" to finding that the "aliens" have "graduated" from allegedly killing and harvesting organs from cattle to killing Humans. Even better if she already had a track record as saying that "some alien races are evil." Howe managed to do both in her 1993 book provocatively (and falsely) titled: Alien Harvest: Further Evidence Linking Animal Mutilations and Human Abductions to Alien Life Forms. So, the trio who were reported to having been observed plotting their role in announcing the fake "alien invasion" contain: a UFO investigator with ties to the top tier of the Cabal, one who is on record that "aliens" are here to exploit us, and one who has asserted that "aliens" are here to "harvest" us.
The Cabal's Secret Antigravity Fleet And Star Wars Weaponry
The Cabal have acquired extremely-advanced extraterrestrial science and technology information by back-engineering it from UFOs they have shot down, by stealing such benign information from legitimate governments to whom Star Nations had entrusted it, and by torturing Star Visitors they captured into disclosing such information. The Cabal have then weaponized this basically benign, neutral science and technology information by having their scientists and engineers turn it into such tools as swift antigravity fighter craft and Star Wars weapons.

1) The B-2 Stealth bomber secretly has electrogravitic systems on board, eliminating most weight when turned on, and enabling it to fly great distances with little fuel consumption. While the B-2's existence is public knowledge, the fact that it secretly has antigravity properties is not.
2) The Aurora is a moderate-sized space-faring vehicle that can operate on both conventional fuel and antigravity field-propulsion systems. The Aurora can travel to the Moon. It operates out of Area 51, (Groom Dry Lake Air Force Station), at the northeast corner of the Nellis AFB Range, north of Las Vegas, Nevada.
3) The Lockheed-Martin X-33A VentureStar military space plane is a military version of its acknowledged civilian aerospace vehicle, the National Space Plane, in off-and-on development. The military X-33A has an electrogravitics system on board.
4) the Lockheed X-22A is a two-man antigravity disc fighter. The late Colonel Steve Wilson, USAF (ret.), stated that military astronauts who fly it trained at a secret aerospace academy separate from the regular Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO. These military astronauts then operate out of such bases as Beale and Vandenberg Air Force Bases, Northern California. From those bases, these military astronauts regularly fly trans-atmospherically and out into space. An ex-NSA employee said that the X-22A is equipped with Neutral Particle Beam directed-energy weapons, that it is capable of effecting optical as well as radar invisibility, and that it is deployable for worldwide military operations
5) The Nautilus is another space-faring military spacecraft, which operates by magnetic pulsing It is manufactured jointly by Boeing's Phantom Works near Seattle and EU's Airbus Industries Anglo-French consortium. It makes twice-a-week trips up to a secret military-intelligence space station, which has been in deep space for the past thirty years. The Nautilus has the ability to strike a ground target, hurtling down from space, a direction from which attacks are not usually expected.
6) The TR3-A "Pumpkinseed" is a super-fast aerospace vehicle with a thin oval airframe shaped like a pumpkinseed. It has been identified as using pulse-detonation technology for propulsion in a sub-hypersonic regime, and also uses antigravity technology for mass-reduction and complementary field propulsion at higher speed levels.
7) the TR3-B "Astra" is a large triangular anti-gravity craft within the U.S. fleet. It was reportedly secretly deployed in the Gulf War's early hours, using electromagnetic-pulse/laser cannons. It literally sat in mid-air, firing at long-, medium-, and short-range targets to take them out.
8) A Northrop antigravity disc is manufactured by Northrop Aircraft Corporation. I have seen and dubbed it the "Great Pumpkin" , from its intensely-brilliant ruddy golden-orangish glow, resultant from strong ambient ionization. This points to electrogravitics as its method of field propulsion.
9) The XH-75D or XH Shark antigravity helicopter is manufactured by Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical Corporation of San Diego (now part of Northrop-Grumman). USAF Colonel Steve Wilson reported that many of these XH-75Ds were assigned to the Delta/National Reconnaissance Organization Division which retrieves downed UFOs. That Division is also implicated in mutilating cattle as a psychological warfare program on the American public, to try to get citizens to fear and hate Star Visitors through assuming that "the aliens" are the ones cutting up the cattle. The antigravity Shark helo is also capable of operating invisibly.
10) The TAW-50 is a hypersonic, antigravity, space-capable fighter-bomber jointly developed by the Lockheed-Martin Skunk Works and Northrop. The TAW-50 is capable of moving considerably faster than 38,000 mph. The TAW-50 has a SCRAM (supersonic ramjet) propulsion system for passing through the upper atmosphere. The TAW-50 also utilizes electrogravitics to maintain its own artificial gravity while in weightless space, as well as to nullify the vehicle's mass during operations. The TAW-50 is armed with its own Kill Laser system. In addition, the TAW-50 is armed with micro-super explosive HyperDart missiles. These are just a little larger than ordinary aircraft cannon ammunition, but travel at hypersonic speed for up to three minutes, and have enormous explosive capability. One HyperDart can blow apart a MiG fighter anywhere within 20 feet of the HyperDart. The TAW-50 carries several hundred HyperDarts. The performance of the TAW-50 makes it virtually impossible to defend against. It can hide in orbit many hundreds of miles into space, orbiting at times at 22,000 mph. Then, without warning, it can dive straight down through the atmosphere at over 38,000 miles per hour on an 80-degree attack vector, reverse direction within 150 feet of the ground with very little loss of motion and without a glide turn, and almost instantly go vertically straight up at over 38,000 mph until long after it leaves the atmosphere and resumes orbiting in space. The TAW-50's electrogravitics allow it to change its mass to almost nothing in a moment, and reverse direction in a second, then increase its acceleration to many times Earth's gravity, yet is able to virtually nullify the inertial and G-force effect on the pilots. As of 2002, the U.S. has 20 TAW-50s in its arsenal. But, as a contractor who helped build it commented, "You could take out an entire nation in under 10 days with only 10 of these, doing three attacks a day. One can wipe out an entire city the size of suburban Cleveland in a single attack without having to use any nukes at all."
11) The Northrop Quantum Teleportation Disc is the result of advances beyond "mere" antigravity field propulsion. Northrop engineers have incorporated quantum physics principles, and have harnessed quantum entanglement to achieve quantum teleportation as the means by which this craft "ceases to exist" in one location and suddenly reappears over a distant target.
Where are these craft kept? While not all locations are known, some of these advanced-technology craft operate out of: Nellis Air Force Base's Area 51, Rachel, Nevada; Vandenberg AFB (Lompoc) and Beale AFB (Marysville), California; Michael Army Auxiliary Air Field at Dugway Proving Grounds, Tooele, Utah; Space City at White Sands Missile Range, Las Cruces, New Mexico; Whiteman AFB, Sedalia, Missouri; and undoubtedly at additional locations.
Epilogue: What Does This Mean For Our Future?
Are large numbers of Humans therefore doomed under an onslaught from these seemingly-invincible Cabal advanced antigravity craft masquerading as "alien invaders"? Not so.
Star Nations spokesperson, Councillor For the Watchers stated on November 5, 2007 (personal communication) that the staged "alien invasion" and resultant bloodbath, reportedly to be fronted by Greer, Salla and Howe, will not happen. The Councillor says, "We would never let countless Humans die in such an event because we love them too much to allow that. We do intervene in Human affairs when the stakes are high - a false-flag "invasion" meets that criterion."
This Open Letter has touched on several very important areas: the Cabal's plans to thwart any Star Visitors public presence by staging a preemptive fake "alien invasion"; and the secret advanced antigravity craft and weapons which the Cabal has available to accomplish their simulated "alien invasion" Star Wars sky battles and ground attacks.

As a behavioral scientist and clinician, I have been working for over 15 years with persons who report having had an encounter with an extraterrestrial intelligent life form, a Star Visitor. During the course of this work I have felt it necessary to learn as much as possible about the veridical reality of UFOs, and what the government already knows about these visitors from afar.
As information on Star Visitors and their encounters with humans piled up, I began to publish my findings, presenting them at national and international conferences, in specialty journals, and in media interviews. This in turn brought me to the attention of certain figures, currently or formerly in highly-classified sectors of government and the military ad intelligence agencies. These individuals decided to leak certain additional information to me, knowing that I would thus serve as a conduit to bring such leaked information to the attention of the portion of the public interested and ready for such information.
My doctoral training in psychology and anthropology taught the value of first-hand field research. And because the existence and operations of various undeclared or secret government installations related to Star Visitor matters are not going to be plumbed without field research, I made it my task, starting in 1992, to reconnoiter, observe, and in some instances penetrate many of the most important of these installations. I reasoned that the knowledge I gained could be very helpful to the experiencers who consult with me, to help them feel secure that they had not hallucinated, but that such advanced technology exists, and in fact, the American government is in possession of some of this technology.
Additionally, the hundreds of experiencers of encounters shared with me information they possessed, including about advanced U.S. craft, either by reason of being told such things by the Star Visitors, or by being kidnapped by rogue military-intelligence units and taken aboard one of these craft to one or other of these installations, or viewed such craft once they arrived. This added to my store of information and data on advanced U.S. antigravity craft.
While I have gathered, or been entrusted by others with, considerable information on special American aerospace craft, I do not purport to know everything that is in the U.S. arsenal, nor everything about the operations and capabilities of the craft that I am about to identify. What I know is presented here. I have held nothing back.
At this time, I am aware of the existence of thirteen kinds of special-technology advanced aerospace platforms [mil-speak for craft], all incorporating antigravity technology in some form. These thirteen are: the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, the F-22 Raptor advanced stealth fighter, and its successor, the F-35 Lightning II advanced stealth fighter; the Aurora, Lockheed-Martin's X-33A, the Lockheed X-22A two-man antigravity disc fighter, Boeing and Airbus Industries' Nautilus, the TR3-A Pumpkinseed , the TR3-B Triangle, Northrop's "Great Pumpkin" disc, Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical's XH-75D Shark antigravity helicopter, Lockheed-Martin and Northrop's jointly-developed TAW-50 hypersonic antigravity fighter-bomber, and the Northrop Quantum Teleportation Disc.
Before we examine these thirteen exotic aerospace craft, a brief overview of the different forms of generating antigravity fields is in order.
The most primitive antigravity technology is electrogravitic. This involves using voltages in the millions of volts to disrupt the ambient gravitational field. This results in an 89% reduction in gravity's hold on airframes in such vehicles as the B-2 Stealth Bomber and the TR3-B Astra triangular craft. And given the considerable ambient ionization field I observed around the X-22A, it is reasonable to assume that extreme-voltage electrogravitics is also employed with these craft.
The next level up of sophistication is magnetogravitic. This involves generating high-energy toroidal fields spun at incredible rpm's, which also disrupts the ambient gravitational field, indeed to the extent that a counterforce to Earth's gravitational pull is generated. The early British aeronautical engineers called this dynamic counterbary. This may have been used in some earlier American saucers and prototypes, but I have only been told that the secret Nautilus spacefaring craft uses magnetic pulsing , which appears to utilize this technology.
The third level of sophistication, that used in the more modern American antigravity craft, is direct generation and harnessing of the gravitational strong force. Such a strong-force field extends slightly beyond the atomic nucleus of Element 115, an exotic element donated by Star Visitor scientist-consultants to human scientists at S-4, a secret base south of Area 51. By amplifying that exposed gravitational strong force, and using antimatter reactor high energy, and then directing it, it is possible to lift a craft from the Earth and then change directions by vectoring the shaped antigravity force field thus generated. Important information about this third technology is available on Bob Lazar's website. (1.) This information is also described on the Bob Lazar video. Lazar worked on extraterrestrial technology at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Area 51's Site S-4. (2.)
All of these technologies are primitive in comparison with the Star Visitors, whose craft utilize field propulsion powered by harnessing Zero Point Energy. Let us now examine these 13 advanced craft in more detail. The amount of information available for each varies; in some cases more is known, in other cases very little.
1) The B-2 Stealth Bomber is manufactured Northrop-Grumman. The Air Force describes it as a low-observable, strategic, long-range heavy bomber capable of penetrating sophisticated and dense air-defense shields. Retired Air Force Colonel Donald Ware passed on to me information from a three-star general he knows, who revealed to him in July that the B-2 [Stealth bombers] have electro-gravitic systems on board; and that this explains why our 21 Northrop B-2s cost about a billion dollars each. (3.)
2) The F-22 Raptor advanced stealth fighter is built by a joint effort of the Lockheed-Martin Skunk Works and Boeing's Phantom Works. In crude imitation of extraterrestrial starcraft, the guidance system of this aircraft incorporates special Artificial Intelligence (AI), meaning that Star Visitor genetic material is incorporated into the semi-alive and autonomously-functioning guidance system mated with the aircraft. In addition the F-22 has antigravity field propulsion capability, which is exercised selectively by the pilot who is in mental connection with the AI guidance system, which activates the antigravity propulsion as needed in coordination with the F-22's conventional jet engine thrust, to effect the maneuvering of the F-22 Raptor. I have personally witnessed a F-22 stop on its tail in mid-air and dance slowly and gently about without regard for gravity's pull.
3) The "next generation" F-35 Lightning II advanced stealth fighter is built by Lockheed-Martin, Northrop-Grumman and BAE. The F-35 also incorporates quasi-alive Artificial Intelligence and antigravity field propulsion, (recovered reworked Star Visitor technologies), in addition to jet thrust.

4) The Aurora is a moderate-sized space-faring vehicle. The late National Security Council scientist Dr. Michael Wolf (4.) of NSC's unacknowledged Special Studies Group subcommittee, (formerly called MJ-12), has stated that the Aurora can operate on both conventional fuel and antigravity field propulsion systems. He further stated that the Aurora can travel to the Moon. Wolf had also disclosed to me that the U.S. has a small station on the Moon, and a tiny observation post on Mars (5). Thus, I doubt that Dr. Wolf would characterize the Aurora thus, unless it was a vessel already used in making such trips. He disclosed additionally that the Aurora operates out of Area 51, (Groom Dry Lake Air Force Station), at the northeast corner of the Nellis AFB Range, north of Las Vegas, Nevada.
5) The Lockheed-Martin X-33A military spaceplane is a prototype of Lockheed's other spaceplane, the single-stage-to-orbit reuseable aerospace vehicle, the National SpacePlane. Lockheed-Martin does not say too much about its winged, delta-shape X-33 VentureStar, except to say that we are building it. To be at that stage of development for its public-program SpacePlane, clearly Lockheed-Martin has already long since built prototypes, as well as an unacknowledged military version, which I have dubbed the X-33A. The "A" suffix stands for antigravity.
Colonel Donald Ware, USAF (ret.) told me that he had recently learned from a three-star General that the VentureStar X-33 has an electrogravitics (antigravity) system on board (6.). This virtually assures that the unacknowledged military antigravity version, the X-33A, must surely also have electrogravitics on board. It is possible that what I have called the X-33A is the Aurora craft which Dr. Wolf described.
6) The Lockheed X-22A is a two-man antigravity disc fighter. The late Colonel Steve Wilson, USAF (ret.), stated that military astronauts trained at a secret aerospace academy separate from the regular Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO. These military astronauts then operate out of Beale and Vandenberg Air Force Bases, Northern California From those bases, these military astronauts regularly fly trans-atmospherically and out into space (7). One of the aerospace craft they use, Colonel Wilson reported, is the X-22A.
Another informant, "Z", aka "Jesse", who formerly worked at the NSA, told me that the Lockheed X-22A antigravity fighter disc fleet is equipped with Neutral Particle Beam directed-energy weapons, that it is capable of effecting optical as well as radar invisibility, and that it is deployable for worldwide military operations from a new U.S. Space Warfare Headquarters, located in Utah. (8).
Recently I also heard from an Army engineer, formerly TDY'ed to NASA, who shall remain unnamed at his request. He also confirmed that Lockheed had made the X-22A, the two-man antigravity fighter disc which I had seen test-flown in a canyon adjacent to the main Area 51 operations zone. He explained why I had seen the X-22A so nervously flown during that test flight. He said that the original X-22A had had a standard altimeter hard-wired into it, but that such an instrument would give faulty readings in the craft's antigravity field, which bends space-time. He had recommended that they instead use a gradiometer, which would function better. Apparently his suggestion was finally taken up, since in more recent years I have seen the X-22As flying more smoothly and confidently at high altitudes over and near Area 51.
Another informant who wishes his identity kept private related operational details about military deployment of antigravity disc craft which sound like the X-22A. He reports: "During operation DESERT STORM a close relative of mine was in charge of a marine division right on the front. In the first days film footage and especially video-cams which a large number of G.I.s had were impounded, so they wouldn`t capture any sensitive material. Iraq was pumped up and Gung-Ho, since they had well over 50,000 troops ready to charge us, [and] since we only had about 3500 they knew of, and they knew [that], because of the close proximity of troops we couldn`t nuke them, so, they were assuming piece of cake. Wrong.
'Two pictures my relative confiscated from one of his officers showed: 1. a large disc-shaped craft slightly in front of our men with a high intensity beam of light emitting out of it; then, 2. where men, equipment, etc. was [had stood], there only remained dark charcoal-like spots on the desert floor. We have had this technology for quite a while."
The described disc was clearly an antigravity, levitating, aerial-weapons platform in the U.S. arsenal. Quite possibly it was the Lockheed X-22A two-man discoid craft, the real DarkStar, of which the unmanned drone X-22 DarkStar is but an aircraft 'cover' program to disguise the existence of this manned antigravity fighter disc, the X-22A.
Further, as "Z" noted, the real manned discs come equipped with the latest Neutral Particle Beam weapons, which take apart the target at the molecular level. Star Visitor craft do not incinerate humans. Only human military fighters are so deployed. So the above report does not deal with any extraterrestrial event.
7) The Nautilus is another space-faring craft, a secret military spacecraft which operates by magnetic pulsing (9.). It operates out of the unacknowledged new headquarters of the U.S. Space Command, deep under a mountain in Utah. It makes twice-a-week trips up to the secret military-intelligence space station, which has been in deep space for the past thirty years, and manned by U.S. and USSR (now CIS) military astronauts. The Nautilus also is used for superfast surveillance operations, utilizing its ability to penetrate target country airspace from above from deep space, a direction not usually expected. It is manufactured jointly by Boeing's Phantom Works near Seattle and EU's Airbus Industries Anglo-French consortium. During travel to Washington State several years ago, I had a conversation with a former Boeing executive who worked in their Phantom Works, Boeing's black projects division, (roughly the equivalent of Lockheed's Skunk Works). The executive confirmed what I had earlier learned from an intelligence insider: that Boeing had teamed up with Europe's Airbus Industrie to manufacture the Nautilus.
8) The TR3-A "Pumpkinseed" is a super-fast air vehicle. The "Pumpkinseed" nickname is a reference to its thin oval airframe, whose contours resemble that seed. It may be the craft identified as using pulse detonation technology for propulsion in a sub-hypersonic regime, and also uses antigravity technology for either mass-reduction or complementary field propulsion at higher speed levels. As air breathers, these Pulse Detonation Wave Engines (PDWEs) could theoretically propel a hypersonic aircraft towards Mach 10 at an altitude in excess of 180,000 feet. Used to power an trans-atmospheric vehicle, the same PDWEs might be capable of lifting the craft to the edge of space when switched to rocket mode.
9) the TR3-B "Astra" is a large triangular anti-gravity craft within the U.S. fleet. Black projects defense industry insider Edgar Rothschild Fouche wrote about the existence of the TR3-B in his book, Alien Rapture (10).
The TR3-B does not depend solely or principally on its hydrogen-oxygen rockets. It is a highly reduced-gravity aerospace craft manufactured in secret "black programs" by Humans. The antigravity field produced reduces the vehicles weight by about 90% so that very little thrust is required to either keep it aloft or to propel it at Mach 9 speeds, or higher.
The TR-3B vehicle's outer coating is electro-chemical reactive and changes with electrical RF Radar stimulation and can change reflectiveness, radar absorptiveness, and color. This is also the first U.S. vehicle to use quasi-crystals in the vehicle's skin. This polymer skin, when used in conjunction with the TR-3Bs Electronic Counter Measures and, ECCM, can make the vehicle look like a small aircraft, or a flying cylinder - or even trick radar receivers into falsely detecting a variety of aircraft, no aircraft, or several aircraft at various locations.
A circular, plasma filled accelerator ring called the Magnetic Field Disrupter, surrounds the rotable crew compartment and is far ahead of any imaginable technology. Sandia and Livermore laboratories developed the reverse engineered MFD technology. The plasma, mercury based, is pressurized at 250,000 atmospheres at a temperature of 150 degrees Kelvin, and accelerated to 50,000 rpm to create a super-conductive plasma with the resulting gravity disruption [reduction of almost all of the pull of gravity and effects of inertia].
The MFD generates a magnetic vortex field, which disrupts or neutralizes the effects of gravity on mass within proximity, by 89 percent. The MFD creates a disruption of the Earth's gravitational field upon the mass within the circular accelerator. The mass of the circular accelerator and all mass within the accelerator, such as the crew capsule, avionics, MFD systems, fuels, crew environmental systems, and the nuclear reactor, are reduced by 89%. The current MFD in the TR-3B causes the effect of making the vehicle extremely light, and able to outperform and outmaneuver any craft yet constructed - except, of course, those back-engineered total-antigravity craft which the government does not admit exist. The TR-3B is a high altitude, stealth, reconnaissance platform with an indefinite loiter time. Once you get it up there at speed, it doesn't take much propulsion to maintain altitude.
With the vehicle mass reduced by 89% the craft can travel at Mach 9, vertically or horizontally. My sources say the performance is limited only the stresses that the human pilots can endure. Which is a lot, really, considering along with the 89% reduction in mass, the G forces are also reduced by 89%. The crew of the TR-3B should be able to comfortable take up to 40Gs.
The TR-3Bs propulsion is provided by 3 multimode thrusters mounted at each bottom corner of the triangular platform. The TR-3 is a sub-Mach 9 vehicle until it reaches altitudes above l20,000 feet - then who knows how fast it can go!
The reactor heats the liquid hydrogen and injects liquid oxygen in the supersonic nozzle, so that the hydrogen burns concurrently in the liquid oxygen afterburner. The multimode propulsion system can operate in the atmosphere, with thrust provided by the nuclear reactor, in the upper atmosphere, with hydrogen propulsion, and in orbit, with the combined hydrogen/oxygen propulsion. The engines are reportedly built by Rockwell.
10) The Northrop antigravity disc , (designation unknown), is manufactured by Northrop Aircraft Corporation. I have dubbed it the "Great Pumpkin" from its brilliant ruddy golden-orangish glow. I first saw these craft operationally test-flown in 1992 above the Groom Range ridge line at Area 51, Nevada. Later I saw the same intensely burning-bright orange-gold craft that I had seen above Areas 51 being test-flown sixty miles north of Los Angeles, in the Tehachapi Mountains east of Edwards Air Force Base. There the Northrop has its secret saucer manufacturing works buried deep within the mountains. I saw the same intensely burning-bright orange-gold craft test-flown above Northrop's mountaintop test bed there as I had seen above Areas 51/S-4 (11). When energized these discs emit their characteristic intense glow. It is reasonable to assume that this is due to strong ionization, and that electrogravitics is the methodology of their field propulsion.
11) The XH-75D or XH Shark antigravity helicopter is manufactured by Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical Corporation of San Diego (now part of Northrop-Grumman). USAF Colonel Steve Wilson reported that many of these XH-75Ds were assigned to the Delta/National Reconnaissance Organization Division which retrieves downed UFOs. That Division is also implicated in mutilating cattle as a psychological warfare program on the American public, to try to get citizens to fear and hate extraterrestrials through assuming that aliens are the ones cutting up the cattle. 12) The TAW-50 is a hypersonic, antigravity space fighter-bomber. A defense contractor with whom I have been in communication leaked to me details of this U.S. Advanced TAW-50 warcraft. Developed during the early 1990s, the capabilities of this war-bird are jaw-dropping. And the technology shows that the Defense Department did not fail to utilize what it learned combing through the wreckage of various UFO crashes.
The TAW-50 was jointly developed by the Lockheed-Martin Skunk Works (Palmdale-Helendale, CA) and Northrop (undoubtedly at their undeclared Anthill facility within the Tehachapi Mountains, northwest of Lancaster, CA.) Both companies have a history of development of secret anti-gravity craft at these Mojave Desert facilities.
The TAW-50 has speed capabilities well in excess of Mach 50, a number the contractor calls "a very conservative estimate". Its actual speed is classified. Since Mach-1 is 1,225 kilometers per hour, (approximately 748 mph), this means that the TAW-50 is capable of moving considerably faster than 38,000 mph. In comparison, the velocity required to escape Earth's gravity is 25,000 mph. Therefore the TAW-50 is capable of going into space, and does.
The TAW-50 has a SCRAM (supersonic ramjet) propulsion system for passing through the outer atmosphere. The TAW-50 utilizes electrogravitics to maintain its own artificial gravity while in weightless space, as well as to nullify the vehicle's mass during operations. The TAW-50's power supply is provided by a small nuclear power generator that the contractor said is Normal-Inert . The contractor said that the space plane uses electromagnetoferrometric power generation by the immersion of pellets in heavy water (deuterium) and specially-designed coil superconductive magnets, which yield enormous amounts of free electrons when placed in an immersion which has been triggered into an oscillating field-state flux.
The TAW-50 has a crew of four. Nevertheless, the TAW-50 flies so fast that it requires computers to fly it. These were developed by American Computer Company, who derived them from its Valkyrie XB/9000 AI [artificial intelligence] Guidance series. They utilize a RISC Milspec Superchip. There are 180 of them in the flight control system, and 64 more in the weapons guidance system, the contractor reported.
It can carry a combined payload of glide bombs and a package of MIRV (Multiple Independently-targeted Reentry Vehicles, mil-speak for a group of intercontinental ballistic missiles), each of which can seek out and strike a different target. The MIRV pack also contains reentry-capable balloon countermeasures to make it very difficult for laser and other defensive weapons to track down where the real MIRVs are and intercept them. The TAW-50 is armed with its own Kill Laser system, which can track and immolate SAM (Surface-to-Air missiles), STTA (Surface-To-Trans-Atmosphere missiles), ATA (Air-To- Air missiles), and ATTA (Air-To-Trans-Atmospheric missiles). The TAW-50's killer lasers can also knock down high-performance fighter interceptors.
The TAW's Kill Laser is much smaller than the earlier 1980s-era SDI (Star Wars program) models, and has a miniaturized cooling core and 500 times the wattage. The contractor said it uses a spontaneous nucleonic burst to trigger the lasing [laser] effect.
In addition, the TAW-50 is armed with microsuperexplosive HyperDart missiles. These are just a little larger than ordinary aircraft cannon ammunition, but travel at hypersonic speed for up to three minutes, and have enormous explosive capability. One HyperDart can blow apart a MiG fighter anywhere within 20 feet of the HyperDart. The TAW-50 carries several hundred HyperDarts.
Because the TAW-50 is designed to operate in space, it has on board a two-day air supply. This air supply can be extended by using its scoop system and traveling into the upper atmosphere to harvest more oxygen.
The contractor did not reveal the size of the space fighter-bomber except to say, "It's a pretty big thing." The performance of the TAW-50 makes it virtually impossible to defend against. It can hide in orbit many hundreds of miles into space, orbiting at times at 22,000 mph. Then, without warning, it can dive straight down through the atmosphere at over 38,000 miles per hour on an 80-degree attack vector, reverse direction within 150 feet of the ground with very little loss of motion and without a glide turn, and almost instantly go vertically straight up at over 38,000 mph until long after it leaves the atmosphere and resumes orbiting in space. The contractor noted, "Those [electro-]gravitics allow it to change its mass to almost nothing in a moment, and reverse direction in a second, increase its acceleration to so many times G [Earth's gravity] it's not funny, yet they are able to nearly nullify the G-force on the pilots. They [the electrogravitics] are fourth-generation, with the ability to bring it to a complete standstill in under 2 milliseconds, if need be, without crushing the pilots, and keep it there for quite some time.' The contractor notes, "It's far too fast for tracking radars.' 'And,' he adds, 'what military aims its radars straight up?"
The TAW-50 can be refueled and rearmed in orbit by docking with the secret undeclared Military Space Station that is in orbit (12) The entire refueling and rearming procedure takes under 10 minutes. The Cape Canaveral Space Shuttles have carried the arming platforms ("classified Defense Department payloads") up to the secret Military Space Station. The contractor reported that with a few extra tanks of LOX (liquid oxygen), the TAW-50 could fly to the Moon and back.
As of 2002, the U.S. has 20 TAW-50s in its arsenal. But, as the contractor commented, "You could take out an entire nation in under 10 days with only 10 of these, doing three attacks a day. One can wipe out an entire city."
The electrogravitics for the TAW-50 was produced by GE Radionics. Pratt & Whitney designed the SCRAM atmospheric penetrator technology. American Computing Company created the artificial-intelligence supercomputers. The contractor said he could not tell me anything else. And it was clear he did not want his name used. So, this is what is known.
13) The Northrop Quantum Teleportation Disc. Are the above the current state-of-the-art in advanced aerospace craft? No. There have been advances beyond "mere" antigravity field propulsion. Quantum particulate physics is now being used to update a variety of aerospace craft and their weapons systems.
On a 09/16/05 field trip to the boundary of Area 51, during a middle-of-the-night observation, I saw first one, then another, and finally six brightly-lit objects suddenly appear at approximately 1000' (305 meters) height above the desert floor. The intensely-glowing, ruddy, golden-orangish ionization field surrounding these craft appeared identical to the field around the Northrop antigravity disc. But in the 13 years since I had last observed the Northrop discs above Area 51, and at their Tehachapi Mountains manufacturing site, considerable progress has been made.
In 1992, the Northrop disc slowly rose vertically from its flight pad and gradually reached flight altitude. But in 2005 these craft are able to depart from their flight pad and suddenly appear at flight altitude without any visible ascent. And it is not a matter of their ionization field having been turned off during ascent for stealth purposes. The ionization field comes with electrogravitic field propulsion. If the ionization were turned off, the craft would have fallen from the sky. Rather what appears to be going on is that the Northrop engineers have incorporated quantum physics principles into the propulsion. Simply stated, Northrop appears to have harnessed quantum entanglement to achieve quantum teleportation. To the observer the craft simply ceases to exist on the flight pad and instantly begins to exist at, (in this case), 1000 feet altitude. If the interpretation of this observation is correct, then there exists an 13th entry in the U.S. antigravity arsenal, the Northrop Quantum Teleportation Disc. If the black-budget scientists keep advancing along these lines, we could foresee the day when a fleet of Air Force craft suddenly "cease to exist" on the air base runway and instantly appear at 35,000 feet altitude over a target city halfway around the globe.
Afterward:
America has used its enormous wealth to become the global super-power. The TAW-50 is but one example of its exotic, unnecessarily proliferative, and highly-destructive arsenal. The world awaits the day when America finds its soul, and pays more attention to matters of spirit, mind, and metaphysical development, and withdraws from its addiction to war toys.
It has been said that if the American people knew what the military had in their arsenal today, they wouldn't believe it, and would think that someone was fantasizing about a George Lucas Star Wars movie episode.
But it's not science-fiction. The future is already here.
The implications of these advanced antigravity craft, back-engineered by humans, are several. All of the antigravity technology is in the control of the organization conducting the UFO Cover-Up. This organization is so heavily infiltrated by Cabal types that Dr. Michael Wolf regretfully concluded that the Cabal had effective control of it. He should know; he was a high member of that Special Studies Group, [formerly MJ-12 ], buried within the National Security Council.
Since the Cabal effectively control the development and special uses of these craft, there remains a very high danger that the Cabal will use its growing antigravity fleet to try to repel the Star Visitors and even conduct Space War. Elements within the U.S. Air Force and the Naval Space Command are making preparations for such a Space War.
What can we do about this as lightworkers, Star Kids, Star Seed adults or other humans of good will?
First is to keep ourselves informed about dangerous and evil uses which antigravity (and quantum) technology can be applied to.
Second is to contact our political representatives to oppose policies and weapons systems development that is oriented towards space warfare.
Third, is to encourage the release of this technology into the civilian sector, where it can revolutionize transportation, energy generation, large construction projects, and other peaceful uses.
Fourth, the existence of this human technology is a two-edged sword for the Cabal. Not only is the existence of antigravity technology starting to get out to the public, but also the very existence of a massive worldwide organization conducting the UFO Cover-Up and confiscation of Star Visitor technology. As the public becomes aware that the Cabal have unfairly monopolized this technology for 40+ years, the public will become incensed at the Cabal for their greed and selfishness. This then becomes the opportunity to expose and discredit the Cabal, the Number One obstacle to human safety and progress.
Addendum on Zeta starcraft and celestial navigation

"1) Zeta craft skin is very unique. Zeta crafts are self-healing - as long as they are not too messed up, small things repair automatically. The skin of Zeta craft is amazing. It is actually nano-technology, and the small cells (*not actually cells, but they are alive and thoughtful individual quark units which make up the material in a uniform state) - these cells communicate internally and share the common service of keeping the whole craft healthy. They watch out over each other and if one unit is hurt, they will heal the injured one. In [a Science Channel show, "Future Cars"*] it showed how a car can get a scratch and the paint is a type of intelligent polymer that will self-heal the scratch.

"2) Cars of the future will be linked with the driver. For a Zeta craft, this is the same thing on an advanced level. Zeta craft listens to the heart energy of the one in communication with it. It will not respond to energy of ego. This is also why the Cabal who have captured Zeta craft can not figure out how to drive them. One time I was called in [by her Cabal captors when she was a young person] to try to make a Zeta craft fly - along with some other people. It was very easy for me to have the craft respond and get off the ground because of how the craft responds to the pilot. Of course after I figured out the person was trying to find out how I was able to make the Zeta craft get off the ground in the hanger, I immediately knew to shut it down. I told them I had no idea how I did it. Just like the cars in our own future, if the car/craft senses that the one driving is not supposed to be doing so - they just won't work.
"3) Cars of the future will be interconnected through what the [TV show] is calling the Matrix. They will be on a grid form of travel. They hope this will keep cars from crashing. (( My father actually designed a car system back in 1940's that did exactly this based on magnetic engineering - but anyway )). Zeta craft naturally do this. In fact, all the Star Nations craft I ever heard about in the many Species do this already. The Space Beacon system is the brain behind what goes on in the [space] energy grids. The Space Beacon keeps all the information of where craft are and such so they don't smash into each other all the time. Of course that system is based on not just our simple energy level but on many millions of energy systems that all interlap and overlap. It is actually a very amazing thing to see in person because the technology the Star Folks use to do this is so cool. In 1978 when I was 8 and got to go to the City of Light [deep in space], the two Star Folks who took me had an on-board system that was holographic. And they were asking the computer or Star Ship system, along with talking to each other (one male and one female), about the best path to take back to their home where they wanted to take me. They were pointing out something that they were trying to avoid and talking about how to go around that. (I say talking but it was telepathic sounds not human words but I could understand the energy of what they were saying). But after they settled on the path they wanted to take, their Star Ship took over. And I knew it was automatic and would not hit anything. And from the Zeta craft I have seen the same type of thing - but a little different.
"4) Cars of the future here are being shown [on the Science Channel program] to be autonomous. But we need to consider this a little more in our development choice. The Zeta craft actually feed back to the Zeta pilot whatever the pilot wants at the time. If it is on auto-mode going somewhere specific, and the Zeta decide they want to swing by Earth to make a visit over [Washington, DC], well, it is a simple single thought to do so. And the Zeta craft can go from automatic functioning to completely in the hands of the pilot. I find this very amazing actually because of the life that the Zeta craft has. When the one was shot down in Roswell, it was fully under control of Zeta pilot rather than self mode. Self mode would have protected the craft totally and left. But Zeta made a choice. In that situation, the Zeta pilot made a choice based on the heart energy of their group. I still do not understand that entire situation, but I do know, based on asking Zeta, that a Human would have been killed had they not make the choice they made. And Zeta work very hard to cause no harm. It was a split-second decision when either answer was not ideal. But the point is that the choice of action is finally in the hands of the pilot."

The "White" Space Program Continues to Unravel: No More Expensive, Dangerous Space Shuttles to Hide the "Black" Programs
The Space Shuttle itself as an orbiter is superb--you just can't boost the thing to space easily by action-reaction rockets. It's disappointing to know that engineers knew the Shuttle was supposed to be ON TOP of its boosters to not be bombarded with debris upon launch yet mated it alongside causing at least at face value the Columbia re-entry burn-up in 2003. What's even more immoral is how ejection seats were not fitted all along that would have saved the 7 Challenger astronauts--to include civilian teacher McAuliffe in 1981. There is evidence that the Soviets sabotaged that mission, yet this is moot point--they were all alive until their fragment hit the water. Which brings up the next point of why smash the White space program?

Clearly, the Illuminati see space travel--like air travel--is reserved only for THEM--not US. The capsule thing ain't too "hot" either; ask Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin's friend Vladimir Komarov who burned-up in the defective Soyuz 1 capsule...to prevent Yuri from dying. A little while later Gagarin was killed (murdered) in an "accident". The unselfish courage of this Russian cosmonaut taking the place of his friend on a known suicide mission is inspiring and reminds us all to resist evil no matter what the cost. The final words of doomed Russian cosmonaut, Vladimir Komarov, were picked up by U.S. intelligence, according to a new book.

As Komarov hurtled towards earth and certain death in the stricken Soyuz 1 craft, he could be heard screaming and cursing the "people who had put him inside a botched spaceship."
U.S. National Security Analyst, identified in the book as Perry Fellwock, described intercepting Komarov's conversation with ground control officers in which he told them he knew he was about to die during the space mission in 1967.
Fellwock was also privy to a conversation between Komarov and former premier Alexei Kosygin from the U.S. listening post in Turkey.
Kosygin can be heard crying and telling Komarov he is a hero, Fellwock reported.
The extraordinary revelations appear in new book Starman, The Truth Behind the Legend of Yuri Gagarin, by Jamie Doran and Piers Bizony, to be published next month.

The men were both assigned the doomed Earth-orbiting mission and both knew the space capsule was not safe, according to Starman.

The Russians planned to launch the Soyuz 1 with Komarov inside. A second vehicle with two additional cosmonauts would blast off the next day.
The two vehicles would meet and dock before Komarov would crawl from one to the other and come home in the second ship. It was supposed to be a Soviet triumph to mark the 50th anniversary of the Communist revolution--but as the book suggests, it was doomed to fail.

On inspection the Soyuz 1 had 203 structural problems - problems that would make it dangerous to navigate in space. No one dared tell then Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev about the faults however for fear of being demoted, fired or sent to diplomatic Siberia. The mission went ahead as planned. With less than a month to go Komarov met with demoted KGB agent, Venyamin Russayev, and told him: "I'm not going to make it back from this flight,"

When Russayev asked why he couldn't just refuse to go Komarov said: 'If I don't make this flight, they'll send the backup pilot instead.
"That's Yura," he said referring to Gagarin. "...and he'll die instead of me. We've got to take care of him." Komarov then burst into tears.
Launch day arrived on April 23, 1967. The Soyuz 1 blasted off without issue but the failures began almost immediately afterwards.
Antennas didn't open properly, power was compromised and navigation proved difficult.
The following day's launch was cancelled and so too were Komarov's hopes for getting back to Earth safely. When the capsule did began its descent the parachutes failed to open - a small canopy came out but failed to pull the larger one from its storage bay. A backup parachute then became entangled with it.
The book then describes how U.S. intelligence "picked up (Komarov's) cries of rage as he plunged to his death." Komarov smashed into plains near Orenburg, Russia with all the force of a meteorite. The craft was flattened and the buffer rockets in its base blew up on impact. A heel bone was found among the ashes, according to Russayev, but there was little else left of Komarov.
He was honoured with a state funeral where his charred remains were in an open casket.

Gagarin never really got over his friend's death. He later died in a plane accident in 1968, a year before the U.S. reached the moon.

One idea would be to take the mothership idea further and apply it to get a hypersonic ramjet up to the required speed to operate its engines, some say is the "Aurora" or "SR-75" or "XR-7" atop something akin to the B-70 Valkerie bomber.

The reader is probably very weary of reading through myriad of web pages regurgitating the same tired cliches' and worn-out "facts" and argumentation. Since you are probably short of time, I will give it to you straight.
I believe that there are both human AGC and supernatural "flying saucers"--but the latter are NOT ET created beings from another planet. They are INTRA-terrestrials (ITs) who have always been here on the Earth as demonic entities--as warned about in the Bible. They are faking themselves to be from another planet as "friendly space brothers" offering us tangible and real high technologies as bait for fatal, doctrinal, theological poison to assassinate mankind by conning us into legal allegiance with evil with horrific eternal consequences. I spoke with Don Phillips at the Disclosure Project when he told us, "These UFOs were huge and they would just come to a stop and do a 60 degree, 45 degree, 10 degree turn, and then immediately reverse this action". During the Apollo landing, Neil Armstrong says, "They're here. They are right over there and look at the size of those ships. And, it is obvious they don't like us being here"....When I was working with the Skunk Works with Kelly Johnson, we signed an agreement with the government to keep very quiet about this. Anti-gravitational research was going....We know that there were some captured craft from 1947 in Roswell, they were real. And, yes, we really did get some technology from them. The idea of appearing to be afar when actually close is not new, in the Bible, the Gibeonites heard of the Israelites unstoppable invasion and realized they were toast. They dressed up some of their men as coming from afar and got a promise from Israelite leaders Caleb and Joshua that they would not invade them. MYSTERY RAID! TWO WAVES OF PLANES SWEEP OVER CITY AS ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS ROAR
As Long Beach Citizens shivered in the pre-dawn hours of this momentous morning war with all its terrors and beauty burst over the city in full display. Two waves of unidentified enemy planes flying high and slow crossed over the entire perimeter of the Long Beach-Los Angeles war zone.
All anti-aircraft batteries in the entire area opened fire as scores of brilliant searchlights caught the mystery planes in their glare. Official reports state no plane were downed and no bombs were dropped.
The first wave of planes came over at 3:15 a.m. This was exactly 49 minutes after the city was blacked out at 2:25 a.m. Again at 4:16 a second wave came over and again all guns in the area blazed into action
Watching from a roof top vantage point it appeared as though heat lightning was flickering on the ground as the flare of the anti-aircraft batteries reflected into the moon-light, star bright sky.
No less then a minute after the guns started firing, the whispering, swishing sound of shrapnel could be heard as it dropped over the city in a deadly rain. Sparks could be noticed as the shrapnel struck on paved street surfaces.
It was a spectacle of tremendous beauty with ominous overtones of sudden death.
As the anti-aircraft shells burst in the air virtually all of them appeared to be short of their objectives. What some people thought were enemy signals and flares were found to be on investigation tracer shells fired by army batteries. These were apparently in strings of six, eight and twelve red balls of fire at a time.
Deny Plane Bagged
In spite of the heavy anti-aircraft fire, Army Defense Command flatly denied any reports of any hits or any bombs dropped in this area. However, persistent eye-witness reports were that a plane was downed at 185th street and Vermont Ave. The area was roped off and spectators were not permitted to approach what appeared to be a wrecked plane.
Heavy guns at Fort MacArthur added their rumbling heavy-throated roar to the thunderous cannonading. During the action the black-out was virtually 100 percent effective save for momentary accidental lighting of homes in the confusion. These were quickly extinguished.
Today the city is in a fever of excitement and Long Beach now knows what it is to experience a raid. That no bombs were dropped was one of the incredible facts of the raid.

In March 5, 1942, George C. Marshall [allegedly] writes a top-secret memo to the President, which states:
"regarding the air raid over Los Angeles it was learned by Army G2 that Rear Admiral Anderson... recovered an unidentified airplane off the coast of California... with no bearing on conventional explanation... This Headquarters has come to the determination that the mystery airplanes are in fact not earthly and according to secret intelligence sources they are in all probability of interplanetary origin."
Marshall goes on to state:
"As a consequence I have issued orders to Army G2 that a special intelligence unit be created to further investigate the phenomenon and report any significant connection between recent incidents and those collected by the director the office of Coordinator of Information."
The memo bears correct Office of Chief of Staff (OCS) file numbers and has "Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit" (IPU) typed on it at a later time by a different typewriter. It is logical to believe that this is the order that sets up the IPU.

Allegedly a flying saucer crashed in 1941 in the woods of Missouri, and the U.S. military recovered it and some dead "aliens". "MJ12", "IPU" and other USG Non-Sense
Colonel Philip Corso is alleged to have worked for U.S. Army LTG Trudeau (above) who replaced LTG James Gavin as Army Chief of Research & Development in 1958. In addition to the quote above detected by Farrell, in his book The Day After Roswell, he seems to suggest the alleged ETs were not really alive but a sort of biological entity or puppet akin to Caribbean zombies of the Ian Fleming Live and Let Die kind.

Bill Birnes of UFO Hunters History Channel TV fame recently had a former USAF enlistedman on his radio show going by the cover name of "Viper" claiming to have participated in several crashed flying officer recoveries as part of an ad hoc recovery team from 1978-1984. Since America is full of intellectually-crippled "doubting thomases" who must touch/feel something, the lure of tangible, physical flying saucer crash wreckage and resultant technological know-how is too much for them to resist being trapped. What's troubling is that Viper's appearance appears to be an intentional or tolerated "leak" coming on the heels of the former USAF officers appearing at the National Press Club declaring that UFOs had hovered over nuclear-tipped Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) and caused them to malfunction. On Earth, Nite Owl and Rorschach continue to uncover the conspiracy surrounding the death of The Comedian and the accusations that drove Doctor Manhattan into exile. They discover evidence that Adrian Veidt may be behind the plan. He asks his assistant to find some filler material from the crank file, a collection of rejected submissions to the paper, many of which had not even been reviewed. The series ends with the young man reaching towards the pile of discarded submissions, near the top of which is Rorschach's journal.
"Acharya S" proposes a midget/dwarf theory for human controlled AGCs. This is a possibility if humans in the late 1940s were still struggling to make anti-gravity craft fly, what would be the smallest human "computer system" that could be fit into a new aerospace craft? Obviously, dwarves and midgets. However, your first assumption would be that if weight/space were at a premium, you would have only ONE midget human to pilot the craft. The alleged Roswell incident has THREE tiny beings. The next assumption would be that maybe the AGC was very demanding to fly and 1-2 spare pilots were needed for long trips from say Antarctica to North America?
Then, we must examine the TIMING of the FBI posting this ETH-supporting document. Let's face it, the FBI is controlled by the Rockefeller Nazi Illuminati--like every other USG agency. Interesting little document on the FBI's new "Vault" part of its website. Here's the description from the "Unexplained Phenomena" section of the FBI Vault:
Guy Hottel was a Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Washington Field Office. The information concerning Mr. Hottel is in regard to a March 22, 1950, memo he sent to the Director concerning flying saucers.
The memo is addressed to the Director of the FBI at that time, J. Edgar Hoover. It is from the FBI Special Agent in Charge, Guy Hottel. It is dated March 22, 1950, and the subject is:
FLYING SAUCERS
INFORMATION CONCERNINGThe contents read:
The following information was furnished to SA [redacted] by [redacted].
An investigator for the Air Forces stated that three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.
According to Mr. [redacted] informant, the saucers were found in New Mexico due to the fact that the Government has a very high-powered radar set-up in that area and it is believed the radar interfers with the controlling mechanism of the saucers.
No further evaluation was attempted by SA [redacted] concerning the above.
This particular document doesn't say it's specifically about the Roswell incident, but it appears to be so, although the FBI Vault also includes a document making the "high altitude weather balloon" claim for Roswell. While this information may not be new to many researchers, the fact that it is posted on the FBI website itself is fairly new, dating to December 2010. Other documents such as those pertaining to the Majestic 12 have the word "BOGUS" in big black letters scrawled across them, so we shouldn't jump to conclusions about this document, although it does not have any such writing on it - and the FBI's summary of it makes no such notation - so it therefore may well be genuine. Of course, if there really were such saucers with tiny occupants, it still could be a governmental experiment involving not necessarily "aliens," one supposes, but, rather, midgets or dwarfs.
On the other hand, if there are aliens or "extradimensionals" of some sort on, in or above this planet, as many claim there are, they don't seem to be doing much to help us, so I'm not particularly impressed. And, if the document is genuine, we've obviously been lied to for a long time.

Do you like a good UFO detective story? Well, here's one for you. And it's ongoing, so we don't yet know the ending. It involves President John F. Kennedy's interest in UFOs shortly before his death and an allegation that he may have angered officials in his administration when he asked for information on the subject.
Recently, the FBI opened a new website, "The Vault," that lets you view a variety of documents, including those regarding UFOs. I looked into one document that appears to include a phony UFO story and mentioned how important it is to be extremely careful when looking at UFO documents and how it's critical to know the background of this information.
While researching materials for his new book, A Celebration of Freedom: JFK and the New Frontier (Wasteland Press), Atlanta, Ga., history teacher William Lester used the Freedom of Information Act to get some previously classified documents.
Two of them were written by Kennedy on the same date, Nov. 12, 1963 -- 10 days before his assassination. One was to the CIA director, asking for UFO files (See JFK Doc 2); the other was to the NASA administrator, with Kennedy expressing a desire for cooperation with the former Soviet Union on mutual outer space activities (See JFK Doc 3).
"One of his concerns was that a lot of these UFOs were being seen over the Soviet Union and he was very concerned that the Soviets might misinterpret these UFOs as U.S. aggression, believing that it was some of our technology," Lester told AOL News.
"I think this is one of the reasons why he wanted to get his hands on this information and get it away from the jurisdiction of NASA so he could say to the Soviets, 'Look, that's not us, we're not doing it, we're not being provocative. In fact, just to show you that it's not us, what do you think about us working together on the exploration of space?'" Lester added.
Also in his book, Lester reprints an intriguing letter written by Maxwell W. Hunter of the National Aeronautics and Space Council (from the executive office of the president) to Robert F. Packard of the Office of International Scientific Affairs.
Hunter was a pioneer rocket scientist and scientific adviser to both Presidents Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. He wrote this 1963 letter, titled "Thoughts on the Space Alien Race Question."
This is not the first time these and more provocative UFO-related documents have surfaced over the last several decades. Many files point to earlier presidents, Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower, as also being interested in the UFO subject.
Perhaps the most intensely scrutinized documents ever to emerge on UFOs have come to be known as the Majestic 12 or MJ-12. This was a reference to a top-secret group of military officials and scientists allegedly appointed by Truman in 1947 to keep close tabs on the activities of alien beings on Earth after a reported UFO crash near Roswell, N.M.
Let's try to sort out the facts.
In 1984, the MJ-12 documents first appeared when a UFO researcher, Jaime Shandera, received a plain brown envelope that contained a roll of 35mm black-and-white film that developed into a multipage 1952 document -- presumably created for Eisenhower -- regarding something called "Operation Majestic 12."
When the MJ-12 documents were eventually made public around 1987, skeptics poured out of the woodwork, condemning the documents as fraudulent and totally dismissing them.
To get some much needed credible information about the documents, I turned to Linda Moulton Howe, a renowned investigative reporter who explored the MJ-12 materials in 2008. An excellent, in-depth series of reports on her efforts to uncover the truth of the MJ-12 story can be found at her Earthfiles website.
"It's the Catch-22 circle that counter-intel is so good at and they depend on it to divert 99 1/2 percent of the public and the media. And that is, you just put out the word 'This is a hoax' and the population accepts it, and they know that, and they have done this," said Howe, a multiple Emmy Award-winning TV producer and critically acclaimed author of numerous books, including "Glimpses of Other Realities, Volumes I and II" (Linda Moulton Howe Productions).
"So, whether it's swamp gas, weather balloons, hoaxes of hubcaps being thrown up into the air -- the government's efforts back in the late '40s and early '50s became preposterous and cartoonish to try to get control of a subject that they knew was absolutely critical," Howe told AOL News.
The controversy surrounding MJ-12 is a prime example of the age-old "he said, she said" battle in the universe of UFO believers and skeptics.
But MJ-12 has taken on a life of its own because of the large volume of documents and the attention to detail within, including the verification process conducted by serious researchers into specific files that suggest government officials were unhappy with Kennedy's interest in UFOs.
I contacted the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, searching for information about JFK's UFO interest. I was told they didn't catalogue that kind of thing there, but they gave me the names of five Kennedy biographer/historians -- Robert Dallek, James Giglio, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Michael O'Brien and Laurence Leamer.
When I reached out to them for any information they might provide, the responses ranged from "I can't help you," "I had not uncovered any information relating to JFK's interest in UFOs" and "I'm afraid I know nothing about JFK's interest in UFOs" to "I don't know anything about it. Maybe when he heard 'unidentified foreign objects,' he thought they were European ...women."
So, I kept digging.
And Howe connected me with the man she worked closely with in 2008 on the MJ-12 documents. The conversation I had with physicist/aeronautical engineer Robert Wood, former deputy director of McDonnell Douglas -- the major aerospace manufacturer and defense contractor -- really opened my eyes.
In the 1960s, Wood led a McDonnell Douglas team to study UFOs and he's put a huge amount of investigative work into the MJ-12 documents. His website offers a stunning display of MJ-12 items, complete with individual document analysis, and he's collaborated with Howe to piece together and authenticate these eye-opening files.
After a 43-year career with McDonnell Douglas, Wood retired in 1993. That, coupled with more than three decades of investigating UFOs, makes him a highly credible voice about the phenomenon.
At McDonnell Douglas, "We had authority to look at how UFOs might work, with gravity-controlled devices. And I hired (nuclear physicist) Stanton Friedman -- it was the first job he ever had that paid him to study UFOs," Wood said about the man widely considered the hardest-working UFO investigator today, who offers his own critique of MJ-12 skepticism and debunkers.
"There are those who believe (despite evidence to the contrary) that no alien spacecraft have ever visited Earth. Therefore, any documents saying that they have must be false," Friedman pointed out. "No need to do a detailed investigation, to spend time in archives, research the people involved, etc. They must be fraudulent!"
Under the auspices of McDonnell Douglas, Friedman worked closely with Wood looking into reports, including stories told by alleged UFO abductees. "We didn't get any breakthroughs and our report was never submitted to the government -- it was a McDonnell Douglas project -- and so we never told the government about it," Wood said.
In the 1990s, Wood obtained a series of the MJ-12 documents, including something known as the "burned" memo -- believed to have been written in the early 1960s -- that was reportedly saved from being burned, presumably to forever hide important UFO information, including parts that referred to Kennedy.
The memo contains a reference to "Lancer," which was John F. Kennedy's Secret Service code name.
The first page of the now-infamous burned memo (See JFK Doc 4), reportedly written by the director of Central Intelligence, said:
"As you must know, Lancer has made some inquiries regarding our activities, which we cannot allow. Please submit your views no later than October. Your action to this matter is critical to the continuance of the group."
To authenticate the documents, Wood turned to forensics and linguistics specialists who carefully looked at things like the paper they were printed on, ink age, watermarks, font types and other markings.
"I hired a forensics company to check the age of the ink and to check several other things that you can date, using the same techniques you'd use in a court of law," Wood explained. "And all the critics who wave their arms and say, 'Well, you can duplicate anything,' they forget about the fact that these documents actually showed up in the public domain long before our sophisticated techniques got on the market.
"I never figured out who the original document leaker was or what they thought I would do with it, other than what I've done, which has been to discuss it professionally, ethically and from a point of view of intellectual curiosity."
After gathering all their information, Wood and his son, Ryan, produced a 2008 television documentary, "The Secret," shown on the then Sci-Fi Channel.
After exhaustive hands-on analysis of the MJ-12 documents, including the volatile burned memo, Wood came to some striking conclusions:
"I think the most important set of documents are the ones that show that we started this program in 1942, after recovering the first craft in 1941 -- at the beginning of the war, just a few days after Pearl Harbor."
"The second most important set of documents, I think, is the one that links this to the JFK assassination, and that's the burned memo."
"And the third most important documents were the ones that deal with what we were doing about it in the '50s, how we were going to absorb the technology and reverse-engineer it, and how it would affect our entire structure of technology."
"That's my assessment of its relative importance. The most important idea that people have not grasped at all is that this program started in early 1942. The second most important idea is that the program is not under the control of the president and when the president was about to leak it, they bumped him off."
Wood's implication that JFK was killed because of his interest in UFOs is startling, to say the least. But he's not the only person who considers this a possibility.
"I think Kennedy was very interested in UFOs on several fronts," Lester suggested after finishing his book on Kennedy's life.
"There seemed to be kind of an idealistic scientific angle to it, but there was also this hardcore tactical angle that he was trying to successfully play, in what were very volatile times."
"It's almost impossible for me to believe that there's no connection. Now I couldn't go into a courtroom and prove that there was a direct correlation, but I find it hard to believe that there's no connection there."
If this is all true, then it opens the biggest can of worms ever. And yet, Wood's background and integrity shouldn't be taken lightly.
"People always ask me, 'How would the government keep a secret,' because everybody knows that governments don't keep ..."
"As I got involved in classified work, I concluded a couple of things: the higher your clearance level and the more sophisticated the program was, the smarter the people were in the room, almost without exception."
"These guys get smarter and smarter the more complex it is or the more secret it is, and therefore, they are very clever and have a lot of enjoyment in figuring out how to accomplish their missions, which is to keep the public in the dark."
Certainly Wood's career achievements are not in dispute, so there doesn't seem to be a reason for him to be lying or making this stuff up. And, by the way, he doesn't think there's just one group of ETs visiting us.
"There's another dimension here that people don't always integrate and that is, what's the aliens' role in this matter? I'm satisfied there's at least six kinds and they each have their own agendas. It seems like the only thing that's the same is that none of them really want to come out and openly admit that they're here."
Are the MJ-12 documents real or phony? So much mystery still swirls around the assassination of JFK. For conspiracy theorists this is only more fuel on the fire. To be sure, the debate will continue. But for now, with the information presented here, you can make up your own mind.
At the very least, it'll give you something to wonder about.

Leaker's educating Cooper on paper trails is very instructive--with today's computers there doesn't have to be ANY PAPER trail to a human organization's actions. As said before, the striking thing about the "burned memo" that seems to make it look genuine is the "Lancer has made some inquiries into our activities which we cannot allow" remark.

The man is telling them UFOs are DEMONIC--yet Cooper/Farrell act like he "blew a fart in church". Page 342 is missing from the google book preview where Farrell comments on the "spiritual" comments Leaker made, so I don't know exactly what Farrell's views are, guess I have to buy his book?. Key combatants in the war for humanity's survival and identity are the local churches, who are supposed to be the experts in the realm of the supernatural. Most people don't like to hang-out in the theological, metaphysical arena of "why are we here?" and "what happens after we die?"--so they defer to the religious to do society's heavy-lifting on these matters. When there is a birth or a death, they flock to the religious people for answers. Americans are the sons of Calvin. John Calvin preached that the pursuit of wealth and the preservation of property is a Christian duty. He taught that the temptations of the flesh demand a discipline as strict as that of the military profession. At the end of the Eighteenth Century a Frenchman, the Chevalier de Beaujour, wrote on his return from North America, "The American loses no opportunity to acquire wealth. Gain is the subject of all his conversations, and the motive for all his actions. Thus, there is perhaps no civilized nation in the world where there is less generosity in the sentiments, less elevation of soul and of mind, less of those pleasant and glittering illusions that constitute the charm or the consolation of life. I bring this up because of the contemporary Disney cartoon below shows an anti-gravity device getting out of control and slamming into two world trade center-like towers and the technology is stated as coming from "aliens"--furthering the bogus ETH Illuminati agenda. Even our kids can't stop from being bombarded by the Illuminati ETH bullshit!
Legend has it, that Nazi anti-gravity devices were sent to Japanese scientists by U-Boat during WW2, and when they activated a test model it zoomed out-of-control straight into the heavens; scaring them so badly they destroyed the other sample devices--a story similiar to presented in the Walt Disney cartoon above.
Does one have to be a Christian (hold to a religious belief in an equal and opposite direction of the Illuminati Satanists) to fight evil?
Of course, the answer is NO; but this middle ground defaults to the theosophic position somewhat because without a Christian explanation for man's origin and destiny, the secular hero who opposes Illuminati tyranny is left with man living his life-span and dying; he just doesn't act like an asshole while he is alive. When I say the secular anti-NWO hero defaults to the theosophic position, its because since death to him is the end, he will logically support life-extending technologies--the things the Illuminati expect to ride all the way to godhood. Thus, it's hard for the secular hero to defy the Illuminati's efforts to make themselves into gods just on the basis of decency, when he needs the life prolongation, too. Of course, we all do. I don't glibly use the word "hero" to describe secular people who defy the NWO, they deserve this title in spades. They are my heroes, too. I'm just noting that our war effort against the Illuminati would be far stronger if we were not ignorant of Satan's devices--and we had some devices of our own--supplied by the winning side from the Lord. We are going to need everyone and everything we have got when the NWO false reality is thrust upon us on the dark day the UFOs come in force over our heads.
I don't just spout off terms like "winning side" as the typical smug churchian sitting-on-his-ass, expecting God to do everything for him so he doesn't have to risk his social position one iota. I mean that since in the end, God's side is going to prevail--but at terrible human costs---he is still the top being in control. He apparently has placed some limits on what evil can or cannot do. One of them seems to be that they have to at least from a metaphysical legal perspective ANNOUNCE WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO BEFOREHAND, as a sort of thing one sees in the newspapers when something is put up for auction on a foreclosed property. In this case, mankind has dominion over the Earth and he has to at least be shown what is to be done to get tacit approval even in default. This is the basis of Michael Hoffman's "Revelation of the Method" (ROTM) theory that we can see these advance notices in public culture--movies and TV shows where the Illuminati give WE THE SHEEPLE advance warning of their impending actions. This is why we should take very seriously when we see warnings even in Disney children's shows and adult card games. They may be the only warnings we get if they satisfy God's legal requirements.
The first thing one needs to do is realize this is a SUPERNATURAL conspiracy emanating from beings who DON'T DIE like we do; they can foist their cons upon us over hundreds and THOUSANDS of years. They know what they are doing when it comes to fooling humans; show a human something from "long ago" or "far away" and we get google-eyed. Sources? Methods? Agendas? Most humans don't "look gift horses in the mouth"--even if they are technological Trojan ones. Therefore, if humans flew with anti-gravity before the world-wide flood, but lost the know-how afterwards, eventually through trial & error and a little Illuminati occult instigation (hidden texts, faked ET crashes) man would fly this way again. Knowing the inevitable, it's not hard to anticipate supernatural evil planting the seeds of the ETH back-story even hundreds of years ago by staging UFO incidents that humans without cameras would oil paint for the current generation to go, "Eww, Ahhh!" over. Modern man isn't going to be conned by elves, gremlins, fairies like in times past, but he will if its a mirror image of himself in an advanced state coming to visit and give him techno-salvation. Astrophysicist Dr. Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky calculated the orbital motion of Martian satellite Phobos and came to the jaw-dropping conclusion that the moon is artificial, hollow, and basically a titanic spaceship.

Fear and Horror
Mars' two moons, Phobos and Deimos, translate into "fear" and "horror." As Mars is named after the god of war, the names seem appropriate. Both satellites were discovered in 1877 by U.S. astronomer Asaph Hall who never guessed they were artificial.
Both moons are extremely odd, especially the tumbling moon of fear: Phobos. Shklovsky puzzled over them.

Two facts deeply troubled Shklovsky.
First, both moons are too small. No other planet in the solar system has moons as tiny as the Martian moons. They're unique.
Second, their origin bothered him. Were they captured asteroids as others assumed? No, they could not be! Their orbital plane was all wrong. And they're too close to Mars. Much too close. Even more amazing--Phobos changes its speed from time to time.

Russian astronomer Dr. Cherman Struve spent months calculating the Martian moons' orbits with extreme accuracy early in the 20th Century. Yet, Shklovsky astutely noted, as the years progressed into decades the mystery moon's orbital velocity and position no longer matched its mathematically predicted position.
After lengthy study of the tidal, gravitic, and magnetic forces, Shklovsky came to the inescapable conclusion that no natural causes could account for the origins of the two odd moons or their bizarre behavior, particularly that exhibited by Phobos.
The orbit of that fantastic moon was so peculiar, so bizarre, that Phobos had to be a gigantic spaceship.
Every other possible cause was carefully considered and resignedly rejected. Either alternate explanations had no supporting proof or the math was wildly off.
So, Phobos had to be accelerating as it lost altitude, yet could the outer fringes of the thin Martian atmosphere be affecting it? Was the atmosphere actually causing a braking action like the deteriorating orbit of a slowing Earth satellite?

During an interview about the peculiarities surrounding Phobos, Shklovsky said, "In order to make this braking action so significant, and taking into account the extremely rarefied Martian atmosphere at this altitude, Phobos should have very small mass, that is, very low average density, approximately one thousand times smaller than the density of water."
A density that low, less than an Earth cloud, would have dispersed Phobos eons ago. That could not be the solution.
"But can a continuous solid have such low density, probably smaller than that of air? Of course not! There's only one way in which the requirements of coherence, constancy of shape of Phobos, and its extremely small average density can be reconciled. We must assume that Phobos is a hollow, empty body, resembling an empty tin can."
A tin can indeed! Like a spaceship is a tin can in the cosmos. For all intents and purposes, the Apollo Lunar Excursion Module was a tin can exceedingly smaller than Phobos, of course.

Thus, even that august American institution conceded that mysterious alien ships might be orbiting Mars...the objects' strange origins and ultimate purposes completely unknown.
Speculations over what the giant artificial spaceships might be have ranged from massive Martian space observatories, to half-completed generational interstellar spaceships, or even gargantuan planet-killing space bombs left over from an interplanetary war waged millions of years ago.

I was amused to read the following article, and I'll let you read it first to see why, before I comment myself:

Yes, you read that right, a nuclear (well, technically, it would have to be thermonuclear) blast of one million megatons. That's the energy release equivalent of 1,000,000,000,000 - that's one quadrillion - tons, or 2,000,000,000,000,000 pounds, or two quintillion pounds, of TNT.
And all of this was natural according to Dr. John Brandenburg (whom this author has actually met). Well, of course it is. After all, our own sun puts out prodigious amounts of energy every second, and most of it from thermonuclear processes (note, I said most of it). Reading the article, one gets the usual "well this is interesting but there are other scientific models to explain it" response.
Make no mistake, there is evidence here on Earth that natural nuclear reactors formed and operated for a period of time long ago. But these are fission reactors and fission processes would be, to my mind, next to impossible to generate this amount of energy naturally. And fusion processes of this magnitude occurring naturally on a planet... well, that too, does not to my mind compute very easily.
If Brandenburg is correct, that all this is evidence of a gigantic thermonuclear explosion on the red planet aeons ago, then my bet is that it was the product both of technology and deliberate action, in short, it was the occurrence of an act of war.

Possible First Sighting of the Moon by Man and Flashes of LightOne of the most fascinating of the lunar observations are flashes of light. Ancient authors such as Aristotle and Plutarch wrote about a group called the Proselenes of Greece. This group claims to have existed before the Moon was in orbit. On July 29, 1953, John J. O'Neill observed a 12-mile-long bridge straddling the crater Mare Crisium. In August, British astronomer Dr. H.P. Wilkens verified its presence, "It looks artificial. One of the most curious features ever photographed on the Lunar surface (Lunar Orbiter photograph III-84M) is an amazing spire that rises more than 5 miles from the Sinus Medii region of the lunar surface.
The Obelisks: Lunar Orbiter II took several photographs in November 1966 that showed several obelisks, one of which was more than 150 feet tall. "...the spires were arranged in precisely the same was as the apices of the three great pyramids." [4]

The question of why the Moon had to be built is easy to answer: To produce all life, especially humans.
Knight goes on to make the absurd theosophic conclusion that HUMANS (that means us) created the moon in our FUTURE and went back in time. Mr. Occam?
The more logical explanation is that GOD created the moon--after he tilted the Earth at it's 23 degree axis tilt to create the post-flood world we live in today.

In 1934, on a cold winter night, a young girl was returning home from a dance she had attended at the O. Henry Ballroom on Archer Avenue in a suburb of Chicago.
In a hit and run car accident, the girl thought to be known as Mary Bregavy was killed. Wearing the long white gown and shoes that she had worn to the dance, Mary's parents laid her body to rest in Resurrection Cemetery.
For 5 years, Mary rested peacefully, until one day in 1939. On a cold January night of that year, a cab driver picked up a woman on Archer Avenue wearing a long white gown. She directed him North on Archer. She asked him then to stop and pointed to the place she wanted him to stop. He looked at where she pointed and then turned to look at her, only she was gone. The cab had stopped directly in front of Resurrection Cemetery.
That same year, a man named Jerry Palus reported dancing with a beautiful blonde girl in a long white dress. After a night of dancing, he offered her a ride home. She directed him North on Archer Avenue. When they began to drive by Resurrection Cemetery, she dashed out of his car never to be seen by him again.
A more concrete report of Mary's ghost occurred on August 10, 1976. A man was driving past Resurrection Cemetery in the evening and saw that a girl appeared to be locked behind the steel gates. He reported this to the police and Police Sergeant Pat Homer responded to the call. He looked for this girl to no avail, but what he did find was that two of the steel bars had been pried apart and human handprints were embedded into the metal. On the bars themselves were scorch marks which looked like skin texture and handprints.
Experts were brought in to explain how the bars could have been bent and no one could offer any explanation. In 1977, the bars were blow-torched by the cemetery and though the scorch marks were burned off, the handprints that were embedded into the metal could not be removed!
Other reports in 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1997 and 1998 have all told similar stories. Many people have reported seeing a girl dash in front of their cars in front of the cemetery. She is so close that people end up slamming on their brakes scared that they are going to hit the girl. But when the cars stops, they never end up hitting anyone and a girl is never to be seen. Other stories tell of people calling the police to report a woman lying very injured or dead on the side of the road in front of the cemetery. By the time the police or ambulance arrive, the woman is gone but an imprint of her body remains on the ground.
Could these numerous accounts of Resurrection Mary be true or have people made them up just to make a good ghost story? Will this question ever be answered?
Evil knows mankind is looking for clues in space. They know how to "play us". Its high time we stop looking at life like it was all a test tube experiment of impersonal natural processes and realize there are intelligences out there and every incident needs to be treated like a CRIME SCENE; where nothing is what it appears at face value--this includes possible artifacts we may find on other planets.
