The ATB can be quickly unfolded or folded to transition the Paratrooper from deliver vehicles to self-propulsion. In fact, Team Leader LT Sparks shown here was on the ATB cycling to the separately dropped ATBs/ATAC bundle before the latter were recovered despite jumping on the second pass over the DZ. The ATB airdrop bag is spacious enough to carry the rucksack or in the case of this jump the tactical load bearing vest (TLBV).
