1st TSG (A) COMMENT: If the poncho-liner is so great, Soldiers wouldn't have been freezing during Operation Anaconda! Its liked because its light and fits in a butt pack..its better than NOTHING. We already have a better poncho liner in the U.S. Army supply system, that is warmer, has a head hole and can zip together to be a Lightweight Sleeping Bag; its called the Eco-Tat. Details here: LWSB. It still fits into a buttpack and better yet with compression stuff sack can strap to the top of the buttpack so it can still be used to carry stuff. Also we do not marginalize the needs of our Soldiers with pooh-pooh terms like "Likes" and "Dislikes" when these things can get a man killed and ruin a mission.
