Moments after the assassination, NBC-TV ‘s local station interviewed Mary Moorman and Jean Hill first through voice and later the interviewed was replayed with film footage. NBC must have been unhappy with what she said because they did not extensively replay her interview. Jean Hill said that the ambush began with two shots as soon as the limo turned and then there was a pause and there were two shots to JFK’s head coming from the front grassy knoll. She also said that she saw a man with a rifle running up the knoll. At first NBC must have allowed her testimony thinking it dovetailed with the lone nut cover story by it being the lone gunman making his escape from the TSBD. However; as time wore on, it became apparent that she was describing a multi-shooter ambush created by a conspiracy of people in direct contradiction to the official “one man did it all” cover story being put out.
